I have to say this.

I love being a Panther fan.  Through the good and bad times this team was a bright spot in my life during some really dark periods.  This team has given me plenty of pre-30 heart attacks but it also reminds me of home since I'm on the other side of the states now.  I loved Delhomme.  I loved John Fox.  Hell I've loved everyone with the exception of Rae Carruth.  I feel great to represent Carolina out here in Cali.  I feel better than ever about the team now.   Watching Luke and Cam just makes me feel a certain type of way.  We are blessed and I can't wait to watch this team grow.  Soon as I have kids they be raised as Proud Panther fans.

Love this team and am thankful for this forum.

Had to be said.

Cue the overplayed Pharrell song.

Much love.

Let's get this thread going with a slight derailing.

So wellwellwell, what is it that you have been drinking today?

I've been drinking various craft IPA's from my good fridge stash. I drank a Heretic Evil Cousin and am now halfway done with an Altamont Shelter IPA growler.

Well Montsta, you are semi correct.  I haven't been drinking today, BUT I'm very very hungover because I was out drinking with some Koreans last night (they can knock em back like nobody's business).  All I remember is a bunch of Ballantines (sp?) and Old Speckled Hen.  I definitely should get some hair of the dog though.  I'll keep those in mind.  Love trying new stuff.

Hair of the dog is great. I heard one of their beers (I think Adam?) is super limited and can cost several hundred dollars for a pint.

Good man.

There is a brewery by my house called Eight Bridges that makes a phenomenal red called Twysted Red. I have a growler of it as well and it may be my next victim after this Shelter IPA.

    • No, you're right. It doesn't mean you can't call out his flaws and poor play. But it also doesn't mean you can't admit when he plays well and shows improvement. Not you personally, just in general I mean.
    • I will say, I do think there's a version of Bryce that could be really successful as a high-volume passer in a spread-based offense built around quick throws and timing-based intermediate throws with deeper throws schemed up around them. I actually think the power run based offense we're running is a poor fit for Bryce as it requires him to play under center far more often. It's a very traditional offensive approach whereas I think a scheme that spreads defenses out and lets Bryce distribute the ball quickly with anticipation and accuracy is the sweet spot for him. The key, of course, is to find a way to run the ball efficiently out of those formations. Our personnel right now (backs and OL) aren't good fits for that style of offense and I'm not sure it's a scheme Dave Canales favors very much either.
    • I root for him, and I hope for the best, as does essentially everyone. But that doesn’t mean you can’t call out flaws and bad plays. And that’s what a lot of people get wrong.  I hope I’m wrong and that he continues to improve a lot, I just doubt it. But I’ve been wrong before
