very possible--we should hope that he does not, tbh.

Kamara to replace Dowdle?
DaveThePanther2008 replied to DaveThePanther2008's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think everyone is but the fact that he's coming off two major injuries has got to be a concern. I don't think we want to put the backup burden on Ettienne just yet. If we could get him at a decent price for a backup/#2 RB role I would go for it. Most of us do because he played for our most hated rival. I get it but if we sign him you need to get over it. -
Okay. Help me apply that to Metchie being a 4AAA. PS Also, do you reckon Coker would clear waivers today? Metchie might. PSs I’ll stop I just didn’t want the guy. Maybe he can change my mind.

REPORT: Panthers going after Browns TE David Njoku

Seems a proper fit -
Rodriguez and CJ Allen are the brains of this LB class. I’d still love Rodriguez in the second. Honestly Wallace did better for us when he was the green dot.

Panthers signing WR John Metchie

TMac is probably the only Carolina WR that would have gotten on the field in Houston or Philadelphia. Everyone else is cut in training camp. Coker is actually pretty good but it would have been a numbers game for a UDFA in training camp. Remember we waived him and he cleared waivers to come back to the practice squad. -
So is he the guy or is he the sidekick to the guy? Hell if we can make him a sidekick we are cooking. With the right draft pick that could be a reality by 2O27.

Numbers don't tell the story all the time. How much PT and targets do you think Jimmy Horn, Legette or Tremaine would have gotten on Philly or the Texans? He's much better than them if you watch him play. -
that is a subjective thing. We have all seen guys running open that weren’t targeted.
-
I get that. I got turned off to him too. I’ll leave it there. But football skills, and he stayed with one team for a long time which says something for him.
-
Threw a little on that over but got 141.5. also have a parlay for the hornets White 15 points 5 assists Miller 5 rebounds Kalkbrenner 5 pts
-
How many teams in three years, yet still available? His numbers suck. I am, independently of Horn, calling him the equivalent of a 4AAA baseball prospect. I guess now he is supposed to me my 4AAA prospect. Fine.
-
He is a good MLB but he actually wasn’t the green dot in Jax.
-
Could be a super solid back-up for Chuba tbh
-
If we are going to pick up someone in our division let's get Raachard White. He has background with Canales.
-
Hornets on a road back to back as a 14.5 favorite. This would be the type of game the Hornets I know and love manage to lose.

When his little safety blanket is the only viable option

With these FA moves, PFF guys don't know who to mock to us

Banks feels like a Morgan pick -
It depends on how he is used but Bryce had absolutely shown that he will look for his lil safety blankie. That habit needs to be broken not encouraged. ,

I also like Montana tonight late +146. They beat Idaho in both meetings this year, and both squads were healthy. But I guess there is the old "hard to beat a team three times in one season" adage.
