If the Panthers lay an egg at home vs Atlanta...

I actually think we are going to win and then poo the bed for the next 4-5 games. -

Panthers fan better prepare themselves, ATL probably wants payback for that Week 18 game too. -
Wow.... I had Corbett lasting 3 games.

Thats is what they should do. But as you know they have never done what they should do. -
I'm not saying he's not hurt. McCaffrey was legitimately hurt plenty too. But players have a habit of sitting out more games than necessary once they realize the team isn't going anywhere.

I have a hard time imagining us making any changes mid-season no matter how bad it gets. Tepper is impulsive. But a) there's nothing to be gained by making a change 3 weeks into a season, you're already signaling your season is over. Is someone really going to step in at this point and turn things around? Anyone in the league? Or even CFB, because I don't think Bellichick could step in and right this ship. So the best we could hope for, is someone like Wilks to step in, boost morale enough to win a few meaningless games and ruin our chances at a top pick, and then have the wheels fall off again. And b) Tepper has proven that he is capable of learning some lessons. We really haven't heard much out of that clown recently. Certainly not as much as we used to the first few seasons. And by this I mean I think he knows he has a reputation. And no quality coach wants to go and work for the impulsive, meddlesome owner who repeatedly fires coaches midseason. We've already got to be the least attractive landing spots in the NFL with the absolute dearth of talent, conditioning, and playing surface that will keep players healthy. So the best thing to do is at least pretend that he's ready to stay out of the way. So either way, IMO the smart play is you let this play out all season. Let these suckers go down with the ship, and if a regime change is needed, you wait til the end of the season to make a change. -
Our O-line being mostly healthy last year I hand a feeling a reckoning was happening this year.

Hunt and Corbett to IR

Saw this coming a mile away -
I mean I don’t think hunt wanted to blow out his biceps tendon. that’s a shitty injury. it’s not like Jeff otah rehabbing a back injury at massage envy.
-
I think 95% of the huddle called this in the offseason too. It wasn't if Corbett got hurt, it was when......and apparently it only took 2 games this time lol

He’s been subordinate to Dave since Seattle and has followed him around wherever they’ve gone. He’s also someone who would have been around those late nights when Dave relapsed on porn and was going to strip clubs. Feel free to draw your own conclusions there. -

We are going to make Kyle Pitts look like a hall of famer for one game, that's for sure. -
Corbett to IR what's new, pay no attention to any of the C that were available in multiple drafts.

I fully expect a blow out with the boo birds singing loudly. Evero will be the first head to roll, with a Bryce benching definitely in play if he stinks again. -
Looking like I will not be re-newing my monthly Sunday Ticket subscription, cause that's a disaster. Hunt is one of my favorites they trot out there too, such a shame. I'll keep watching this month but this team is going to be picking top 5 again if this keeps up.

I knew it. Players sign here to get paid millions, play 2 games and get stashed on I.R. every year after faking injuries. Unserious franchise.

My guess is Icky-Lewis-Mays-BC-Moton Yosh & Zavala the remaining depth. Likely picking up a FA/elevating PS

Gotcha thanks for the info. I thought I remember the announcers mentioning that he was getting doubled at times, but of course its a bit hard to see downfield during the broadcast so I'm not sure how accurate that is. -
The oline cannot afford another injury.

I think he's given up. No quality picks spent on defense the past 3 years. No spending on defense the past 3 years. Offense that can't fight its way out of a wet paper bag. No help. No hope. The worst owner in the history of sports at the helm. Kind of reminds me of Reich. Just waiting for the axe to fall and keep cashing that paycheck. -

The knives will be out soon enough. A home blowout loss will surely be the beginning of the end for a lot of folks. -
With Hunt out, this O-line is going to be garbage. Expect to see 2023 Bryce rookie season all over again. This team is poorly run, now with injuries to key starters, it's going to be even worse.

It would probably be more likely to happen after week 4 or 5. Bryce gets benched again, then Dalton goes out there and either gets injured or looks like dog poo and then it happens. -

Losing Hunt really is the season. He was the locker room guy for the offense.
