  1. Past hour
  2. We were what the 19th ranked rushing team last year? With no real home run ability. Season long was 38 yards. Only 5 teams posted a shorter long. Dallas was one and dead last at 27. I agree it’s not 28th. But it’s probably more middle of the road than there general Panther fan consensus. Just a solid complimentary attack.
  3. The day before a game is usually just a walkthrough. Nothing to really report other than injury updates
  4. We should sign a developmental quarterback, and it isn’t Plummer.
  5. This is a popular take around here, but truth is we didn’t get much respect when we were a good team either.
  6. PJ Walker. Only QB of the Tepper era that has managed a winning record. Which basically makes him football Jesus! maybe that Jaguars, Jennifer Lopez, weird stat has a chance of coming through after all!! Super Bowl bound!
  7. I don't think anyone is freaking out about it. LOL
  8. Let's be optimistic. It's free. He kinda sucked against the Browns in preseason. If you just look at the stat sheet, it isn't even that bad. Nothing to freak out about imo.
  9. Pivoting from Bryce after a disaster year(which is the only way that happens) is very unlikely to entail any sort of trade option. I mean, what "favorable contract with high upside" would there even be?
  10. He sucks, but yeah he's gonna be QB2 this year.
  11. Yeah, we all hope. But that era isn't assured. Regardless, PJ Walker was a 3rd QB at best. This is an absurd thread.
  12. There won't be a QB3 on the roster. We might have one on the PS.
  13. QB3 could be filled by someone with more potential just as cheap. As @jfra78 said, Dalton would cost more to cut. He was signed because he clicks with Bryce. Just from a random Google search, I would entertain someone like Will Rogers before I would sign PJ again.
  14. What about Kenny Pickett when he’s cut? Much better option than Plummer
  15. His cap hit is 3.2, hed cost more to cut
  16. It seems like he's inferring that more in terms of QB3 not a Dalton replacement. And let's be real. Dalton is 37 and missed multiple games for a thumb sprain. At the end of the day I like Andy the person but I give zero fugs about that. The Saints moved on quick fast and in a hurry and we mock them mercilessly for their QB situation. We need to at least try to be consistent here.
  17. I feel like if you are seriously looking at PJ, there are a lot better and younger options.
  18. That's one game. I admit he didn't wow anyone, but there are a lot of factors. He was decently accurate. We weren't throwing to win, and that could be play calling. He could also just not care that much because it is preseason and he has the experience to know that.
  19. I'd honestly take PJ at vet minimum over Dalton at $8M simply because I don't expect to win anything with either on the field.
  20. I'm not sure we carry 3 at the beginning of the season
  21. I still think we could replace Plummer with a better option than PJ that would also be cheap. Plenty of guys didn't make it out of the draft and Dan Morgan seems to have a knack for finding UDFA dawgs.
