I saw Hooker play several years ago and thought he would be a good QB. Not that I am looking for a QB to replace Young but maybe Canales can QB whisper him into being a good backup.

A hooker would be a big upgrade from Plummer.

Mike Kaye reports that the Panthers plan to add RB Deejay Dallas and QB Hendon Hooker to the PS. Also says that DB Trevian Thomas will likely be brought to the PS. OL Ja'Tyre Carter cleared waivers and is on the Panthers' IR.

Joe Person just posted that the Panthers plan to claim WR/KR Ainias Smith to the practice squad. Was a '24 fifth-round selection for the Eagles.

Not sure how he fits with this WR corps but Dalevon is awesome. Couldn’t stay healthy last year but he had some huge flashes when he got the opportunity. If he stays healthy he could have a pretty good career.

Panthers fleeced the Vikings in this trade and they need to get Renfrew back asap.
