  1. Past hour
  2. Understand, you were one of those guys. Thanks for confirming. But, by all means, continue to be wrong about "WR's just needing more time" despite literally the past 10+ years of draft data indicating otherwise.
  3. Wow, you really were mad about that weren't you? I just said you may be wrong. You instantly resorted to name calling and just down right nastiness. Wow, and I thought you were one of the more sensible posters here. See, I was wrong there wasn't I? I just needed to wait until we had the right difference in point of view for you to turn into a total schmuck and give a schmuck response.
  4. wondering if i am the only one who feels this way but this 7 and 6 record panther team has me less excited than any other time i can remember the panthers having a halfway decent record. normally i have hope and expect them to win and instead this year its just wierd. maybe i just need to somehow convincr myself byoung is actually good
  5. The difference is that I am not a coward that will conveniently "forget" or deny all the times I was wrong like people like yourself. Oddly, I was very right about TMac, Funchess, TMJ and Mingo. Let me guess, you thought those last three "just needed more time." If fact, were you one of the lightspeed idiots that said we would regret trading Mingo to the Cowboys? I seem to recall you were.
  6. Boy, you really have a hard on for this guy don't you? I was merely pointing out where the negativity and bust talk is at this point in Panthers' fandom. It is pointed at XL right now. You were wrong about DB, and you may be wrong here. But I guess you wouldn't be Shonuff if you didn't do with the confidence of a three year old wearing a Batman t-shirt.
  7. Nevermind, one of the bloggers was reporting it. I did a quick search/copy/paste. Sorry
  8. Austin Corbett named NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year club winner
  9. Today
  10. Makes my eyes red just thinking about it
  11. Yikes, that is not a good draft for us. I would go Francis Mauigoa OT Miami in that scenario, but I would much prefer a LB or Edge considering we don't need Moton's replacement until '27.
  12. It's crazy they'll throw you in jail for grass because I think I'd be in jail without it.
  13. He's a free agent (in coach terms) after the season.
  14. yeah....based on your response, you didn't listen to the video shared. I know that, because you just made a bunch of assumptions that the clip is taking positions it didn't and views what Person wrote incorrectly. Which it doesn't. If you watched the clip, he makes sure there is no confusion about what Joe is actually saying in his article but it's still a response to Person's article and explains why he/others people become forced into hater positions. Still worth a listen.
  15. One-year wonder that has feasted against bad teams/defenses and disappeared versus quality opponents. Lots of YAC on TE screens. Has a few of highlight reel plays, nothing that has me feeling the need to bang the table for him. Fairly athletic and has soft hands. Better than anything we have now, but I wouldn't take him any higher than mid-round of the first. I would say the top Edge, ILB or safety before him.
  16. yep, I wanted in on this praise DB thread: he's a monster. Got paid; still plays...
  17. Looked into it and this is the last year of his deal. I would be very surprised if he either doesn't leave or completely bends them over a barrel on a contract extension.
  18. I mean I can agree that Fields is worse under the narrative he has tools to be better. It would like if Cam and Jimmy Clausen gave you about the same level of production. Cam in theory is worse because he is Julius Peppers playing QB with a different ceiling. But all things considered, Bryce and Justin Fields offer teams that same thing (all though they go about it different). Below average QB play and we have seen both long enough to know it isn't worth pretending they can be what either were drafted to be.
  19. They are all ultimately backup tier QB's, at best. My assertion is that Fields is worse than Bryce BECAUSE of those insane physical abilities but I have beaten that horse plenty enough. Chicago was smart to move on after three seasons while Fields had a tiny amount of value. I suspect Bryce will not have that when/if we decide to move him.
  20. I think that is what he is saying, he may be gone anyway.
  21. the team that drafted him washed their hands of him after 3 years. Bryce would get chances after Carolina. But Fieldswill be 1 year stops until teams just admit he is at best a backup. Fields is even weirder than Bryce. He is ever so slightly more efficient and individually productive than Bryce but call it a push. Both are basically these one read QBs that can't really play and make reads into zone. But Fields forever has some legit elite physical tools (his legs) that people keep wishing would allow them to solve the puzzle. for me, Bryce, Fields, and those types fall below even the Mitch Trubisky tier. Which is a young dude w/ no reality of being more than a middle tier QB but actually is one (while the others are below bottom tier).
  22. He may not actually be under contract next season. I'd have to look him up, but info on coaching contracts is not easy to find.
  23. I was under the impression that the tItans had released him but when I look him up, he's on injured reserve with them. Yeah, I could see him getting another chance somewhere. Guys with big arms usually do.
