PANTHERS @ HURRICANES ROUND 3 GAME 1
PantherChris replied to PantherChris's topic in Carolina Hurricanes
Yes a technicaly but what I was looking at was full seasons played, the lightning won both their cups in shortened covid years..... 10 games less in 19 and 20 and 22 games less in 21 22, basically the extra post season wear and tear would have only been the equivalent of full regular seasons. It's never been done in a full length 82 game 16 game minimum playoffs format. -
You look at a signing like Renfro from a risk/ benefit point of view. Cost - 100,000 in bonus and guarantees and a salary of 1.1 million if he sticks. Benefit - a former probowler trying to rehab a serious illness which shortened his career who is motivated to play in his old backyard. He is a winner who can help instill that in the young guys at the cost of a roster spot and provides great insurance in case of injury to other guys.

Tru. Just the tin foil angle was rookie defenders and.....{applies more layers to head and body}......... Dan said Nic was a first rounder, some mocks had Ransom in the 2nd, Prince was a 3rd rounder and Cam was a 5th rounder...... JJJ adds 3 more layers along with goat comments...

And yet people can’t understand why we can’t pull off back to back winnning seasons. It’s not hard to figure out. It’s probably the most simple problem I have seen. Draft Tigers, not Gamecocks. Science. *FAs don’t count. Not science. We have done that before. Hopefully this one is better than that last experiment

PGA Tour disrespect Dave Tepper and the Carolina Panthers

I sure do miss that genius. -
If Renfrow can put JC horn in a blender like many of the CBs during his 21 season, I will gladly join the hype train.. Until then I got him on the PS working his way back into the NFL and hopefully replacing 35 year old ATs role next season as a 30 year old. Im glad he's here for this deep WR group, its long over due in this passing league to have around 10 legit level NFL WRs for the team(PS included). Plus I like having young group of WR with a young QB, while AT shows them how to be pros.

The Evolution of the Panthers WR Room from 2023 to 2025
Basbear replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
That year broke the last of my football soul..... I believed they could at least challenge for the super sorry NFC south.... so that 2024 first would be in the 20s and not as valuable as having a playoff team. I loved 95% of the coaching hires and I never care for most(I was 100% about rhule tho..) Such a let down and that team/year. It worst than the 1-15 season and expansion 95 Clemson year. My dumbass thought the odds were nicely in the Panthers favor, Im getting sick again..... -

If you took a hot tub time machine to the huddle at this time of 2023…..it was a roster that rivaled 2003 with the bonus of an all star staff -

The 2023 offense had arguably the worst receiving, tight-end, running back, and offensive line groups in this team's history. -

I got mad for a second then realized we talking about the PGA. -
Well, the Niners just doomed themselves to mediocrity
45catfan replied to LinvilleGorge's topic in Carolina Panthers
Clarification--drafted as a 'tweener and pretty quickly settled in as a LB. As mentioned earlier, TD couldn't handle both roles, so we stuck him at LB. I think with the right coaching he could have done both roles, but we stuck him where we thought he would fit best for the long haul and that wasn't at safety. -
I don’t really get this being called a shot at tepper. More of a shot at all panthers players, coaches and fan base. I understand he owns the team but it’s more of a disrespect to the panthers in general. Trust me when I say I hate tepper just as much as the next guy but I feel like this is deflecting the jab onto him

He was always going to be a project, but he really did look better in college. When he got here he looked like he couldn't walk and chew gum at the same time. Just the most awkward WR I've ever seen. Zero field presence or ball skills.
