Did you just stop reading after the first sentence and not finish my post or something? You have to get QB right, it's not optional. High end QBs with very few exceptions come from R1. We will have a high pick this year with 4 guys probably with a first round grade. Draft a guy next year with a high pick we will have and let him sit and get ready while a vet plays and you continue to build the roster. It's just dumb to think you can not address QB.

This will be an unpopular take but, I think we need another draft of just BPA across the board. We are not ready yet to draft another ‘franchise’ QB. Take a flyer on a late round QB, sure. We desperately need to build out this roster. We have too many starters who would be backups on another team’s roster.

I honestly forgot there was a morning game today. Nothing against Gabriel but I was honestly hoping he'd suck it up just because I want to see Shedeur fo out there and suck out loud just for the sheer entertainment factor of it.

It's insane that they're still trotting him out there. This is not a serious franchise. We have an owner (and a GM / HC beholden to said owner) more interested in trying to save face than actually trying to win football games. A franchise serious about winning would have admitted Young wasn't the guy halfway through last season and committed to moving on from him.

"Not a franchise QB" suggests that you think he's an NFL QB. He's not that, either. He might make a wonderful son-in-law for someone and be a competent middle manager down the line, but he's not an NFL calibre football player and, quite frankly, clearly never was.

Minor thing but Mingo was our original 2nd rounder at the 9 slot. The 2nd rounder from CMC was used in the Bryce trade, and Chicago traded it to Jacksonville for Brenton Strange. Our original 2023 3rd was sent the prior year for Corral. So you're right that the 3rd and 4th from the CMC trade were used to get DJJ. The Steelers got Washington (TE) and Herbig (EDGE) out of it. Nonetheless, total mismanagement and poor drafting.

Bryce is absolutely part of the problem. Just like the Teppers, scouting staff, coaching and GM are also part of thr problem. It's everything. And watching a limited QB waste games would still make me mad regardless of the trade. It's year 3 and he is still terrible to watch.

Regardless of what the scoreboard says at the end of today's game I'll chalk it up as a massive win if it's the last time I have to see Bryce Young trot out as a starting QB for the Carolina Panthers.

God forbid we get some Panthers leaning announcers from time to time! Seems like our announcers always have way more love for our opponents. Oh wait…I know why. We don’t give them a lot to get hype about. But still…even when we were beating the Falcons by 5 scores, it was like the announcers had their fingers crossed for a comeback.

This is simply false. I've been critical of Canales multiple times the last two years and certainly over the last few months going back to preseason this year and last year. He let the starters off too easy two preseasons in a row after they underwhelmed and we started the regular season poorly. I have no idea if he will end up being our coach for the future. It is not looking good for him and he has repeatedly had his team coming out looking completely flat multiple times so far as head coach. If he goes he goes. However. That does not mean I am expecting him or any other coach to magically make Bryce Young a franchise QB because they are not miracle workers. Bryce's physical attributes are what they are and they are severely lacking. It is what it is. Now if you're done just making things up trying to portray me as a hater or this or that I'm going to wish you good luck watching the upcoming game and thank you for your discussion.
