Agreed. Just stay this course, draft defense next year if no QB is worth a first round pick, and (for the love of God) bring in any other QB but Bryce
-
I bet you he said that just to run a play action this week against the dolphins on 2nd and short. Was way too deliberate.

Tepper is not going to pay European taxes after living in the South Eastern US for this long. Besides like everyone says about aligning Union, labor, safety laws with US, it won’t happen. I highly doubt other owners are going to approve it either, think about the travel every single week. Either they would have to come to the US for a few weeks at a time or a different team would have to which would impact their next week of practice. Would complicate scheduling for the rest of the league as well. Would never be approved. I do think that eventually Europe will get a revamped version of NFL Europe that is modernized and it will do well if managed correctly.

That's not a very high bar -
Those ain't bags under his eyes, those are suitcases

And I thought he had progressed. He was one of the worst ever his rookie year I guess he didn’t get better.

lol. The latter is true but have you seen him try to actually catch a ball or make a split second decision? He has zero awareness -

Which of our WRs was that true of? Drafting WR busts is a Panthers tradition long before Bryce Young and will continue past him. -
Is anyone else now buying the idea Tepper has eyes on a Europe move??

I don't think Tpper is that diabolical. This is just real life Madden to him and he happens to suck worse than most of us. -
That was a response to Rex ryan blasting him on national TV for no reason and statements he couldn't back up.

I don’t know. I thought the EU and US signed a deal where we pretty much cancel out most things. Which should be better for us. It is another piece of gum in the works though, I was just trolling Europe to be honest. The future of a business over there, I would be worried. They are losing their grip on their culture and it’s about blow up I think. I don’t know that I would want to be heavily invested. -

Lol…didn’t think of that. There is a 100% tariff on foreign movies and tv shows now right? -
I’m curious why so many people on this board think this. Did you watch any of his games at CU? I watched him win a few games that seemed like they were done for in by making some magic happen. One particular game he won on a 4th down bomb to the endzone that he never should’ve gotten off, the state of CO went nuts. He’s bigger, stronger, more elusive than the short kid we have right now. I’ve personally witnessed him throw dimes down the field that Bryce could never dream of. Why would we want to continue down this current path? What’s the harm in trying? What IF it worked out for us and him?
-
Anyone is better than Young but this guy is a little bit of a sideshow. Did you see the mime act? I hate mimes too fwiw

We have people still all up in Bryce’s jock. Tepper is buds with him and his family now. He will be clinging to hope and doing like these people here do and claiming Bryce is poorly coached, has nothing around him, the usual I don’t rule the above out. The stages of grieving take some time to work through until you get to acceptance.
-
Side note - I will never forget watching him beat the brakes off Rhule as an underdog. That was so glorious, and it made me a few G’s off the bet I made that CU would do it. Any chance I get to mock Rhule I will take it. I hate that man.

Plus tariffs lol. How would that work? -
I was just thinking about this. We all laughed at him dropping so far when projected top 3 pick. I’ll admit it, I was in that crowd. I also live in CO and watched some of his games (on TV, wasn’t driving up to Boulder for that circus), the kid made plays when it mattered and created things out of nothing. He had the state buzzing about that team for the first time in a long time. He also showed flashes of immaturity that came from his lineage and looking back on it, seems like an organized effort to show the Sanders family who’s really in charge. Media still takes jabs at him (looking at you Rex) for honestly no reason. All I see now is a kid trying to make the best of his situation. I don’t see or hear him complaining. I see him doing things like working out with high school kids since he’s on the PS, and putting in the work. I saw him play better in the preseason game against us than our #1 pick ever did. I’ve had enough of the Bryce experience. It’s awful. In every possible way. He’s not the guy. I also can’t get the visual of him just stumbling on his own right into the ground last week when the DT we should’ve signed blew the line up and almost got him out of my head. Being a fan of this team right now creates trauma for everyone who tries to move forward with their fandom. What are realistic options? Nothing exciting. Nothing that hasn’t already been a retread a few times over. I don’t see another Cam in the draft. Go get Shadeur. fug it. He’s got the physical tools. He can push the ball downfield, our current high school kid QB cannot unless he launches it within 2 seconds to let the loft carry it. No zip whatsoever. Shadeur comes with some baggage, sure, but why not be the team that gives him his chance to prove all the haters wrong. We literally have nothing to lose since we more than likely lose everything else this year with the current setup. If it works, we could flip the Franchise around for a 7th and DM looks like a genius. If it doesn’t? Who gives a poo. At least we’re acknowledging that Bryce isn’t it and maybe that instills some confidence back in the fans.

I am pretty sure even Tepper sees Bryce is not it. -

After Rhule you would think Tepper would have not been stupid, again, and given an unproven HC a 3 or 4 year contract. I think that was what Richardson gave Rivera. 6 years makes no sense for an unproven HC. -

Unlikely. 1) Tepper just signed a 20 year commitment with charlotte. 2) The city owns the land the stadium sits on, and can foreclose on the stadium if he breaks the agreement (plus fines). Bye bye Charlotte FC. 3) Charlotte FC cannot maintain that stadium alone. I can’t imagine the legal crap from MLS he’d have to deal with if that team couldn’t play in the city. 4) If the nfl setup shop in Europe, they’d be subject to Europes laws. Think safety (CTE), unions, corporate governance, contract law, employment law, etc. Keeping the EU regulators happy would change the game forever. -
