  1. Past hour
  2. If that were true, I doubt he'd still be on the roster.
  3. Morgan and Schoen are buds, socially. Beane too. So looking at NYG as a trading partner makes some sense. I think his history with Seattle could include them as well. If anyone is getting scapegoated in Buffalo we might could get a good deal. I haven’t really followed the Bills but they will have a new DC I think. So some change there is maybe an opportunity.
  4. I haven’t followed the tawdry tale of Watson and his massage therapy, basically at all. Being ignorant, I have to wonder how that stuff doesn’t relieve his employers from their financial obligations. Seems like that is a ‘for cause’ scenario.
  5. Wonder what the Vegas odds were on the first TD of the game being a pick 6 by Darnold.
  6. Today
  7. KT is a guy to keep an eye on in NY. Burns/Carter are nasty and if the Giants can gain some assets for Thibs, I think he could be a name on the move. Main reason I'd stay away is his looming FA in '27. We'd give up some important draft capital and then have to pay him...while also wondering if he can get back to his first two years rather than his previous two. I also could see Harbaugh wanting to roll three deep with his pressure rotations and just hang on to him. I question Schoen's ability to correctly navigate the waters, especially when he dodged getting canned this year.
  8. Green was a streaky QB at Arkansas, then again he was working with an Arkansas roster. If a coach could really let him sit and develop he has a lot of tools to like.
  9. Mafe at Edge, Cade Otton at TE should be some mid tier guys that would be nice upgrades. I'd rather trade for Thibs that Crosby. Younger and probably cheaper to acquire.
  10. If no one said who was the youngest it was Gale Sayers. And the list of youngest guys to be inducted, has one icon after another on it. Look it up and be impressed.
  11. Yeah, the thing with Darnold is he definitely has that ability to spiral. If things go poorly for him early oh boy, look out. It could be one of "those days". One of his first throws of the game very easily could've been a pick six. If that had gone down it might've been interesting. At some point, the Pats may have gotten a running game going but they failed to early and got in a situation where they had to start chasing points and had to abandon the run.
  12. yeah. He would have had to have one of those 4 pick outings to overcome their advantages. But we have seen that happen. I looked at his stats mid 2nd qtr, they were not good.
  13. Crosby and a stud ILB would ramp this defense way up. It’s Luke’s HOF induction year, he is a symbol for what we lack. We need to get in touch with our history and seriously address that position again.
  14. I don't see how Cleveland can be in on any FA QB, considering that DeShaun Watson is still owed $46 million in 2026, and his cap hit is $70 million.
  15. It seemed pretty clear to me after seeing them here, and closing out the season, that Seattle could win behind that defense. Made me wish I still gambled, I would have collected some money. The only way NE wins that game is if Sam hands it to them.
  16. I see it every day. Just watch CSPAN lol. But look at the lawyers, the media, it is every day with the over the top counter accusations. Blame the victim is one of the leading legal strategies of our current time. They don’t care if what they say is not true or reasonable or anything. edit: I guess we’ll see what they have to say. Trying to shift blame off him and onto anyone else, is about all they have. High likelihood they come up with some angle making him a victim. Maybe they still lose… I don’t think expecting the low road is unreasonable any more.
  17. I hope not in the NFL Picture for this year it had Darnold and Maye up front the new Picture has Kamara and Waddle of the Dolphins are at the front
  18. Saints? Super Bowl? Just can't see that happening. But, I would've said the same thing about the Seahawks and definitely the Patriots this time last year too.
  19. I just saw this I really hope we don't have a Saints/Dolphin Superbowl he is saying Malik might go to the Dolphins and look at the picture
  20. It has GOT to be awkward in that Vikings front office right now. You won 14 games with Darnold just to let him walk to hand the reins over to McCarthy who looked like absolute trash while Darnold turns around and wins the SB. Oof. Everyone clowns on the Jets and Panthers for the Darnold stuff but he didn't play well at those stops. He DID play well for the Vikings. The Jets and Panthers decided to move on from a bust that wasn't working out. The Vikings decided to move on from a guy who was playing at a legit good starting QB level to go with the guy they drafted to be their future. They're the ones who made the bold move with Darnold. The Jets and Panthers did what pretty much every team would do in that situation. Yeah, they failed organizationally around Darnold but they didn't choose to move on from a good QB.
  21. I’m here haha. The 2 most coveted spots are QB and a premiere Pass Rusher. I have a hard time seeing him go outside the top-5, definitely not outside the top-10. It shows how highly they’re thought of when Mykel Williams and Shemar Stewart go as high as they did. Bain would’ve easily been ahead of them and Carter last year.
  22. The only counter point is a legit pass rusher will make Derrick Brown and the rest of our defense way better. I think they sat Crosby last year. Of course the price can't get insane but he'd make a huge difference
  23. We gonna start giving out gold medals for doing push-ups and polishing boots, too?!?
  24. You’ve got some safe picks at LB and Edge at 19, unfortunately DT as well (sigh). Monroe Freeling is the home run or strikeout option. 16 game starter, limited tape, but it’s good against high level competition. You’ve got a chance to pick a guy who just has a foundation built for his game, but it’s solid, sky is the limit, but 16 games isn’t a lot of proof. If he hits it’s huge for the future, with the Ickey injury, with Moton at the end of his career.
  25. You can't just say stuff without reasoning. What exactly could the attorney say that would place fault on the officers in this situation, when it will ALL be on the dash cam? Respectfully, it feels like you are just overlooking the details and just assuming because he is an athlete, it will be okay. This isn't an ordinary DV situation. This isn't he said, she said situation. He hit a cop with his car. And it was on camera. That literally happened. Realistically, how could the cops be blamed? Yes, I get it. Athletes get a lot of leeway with crime. But this isn't going to be one of those situations. Feel free to come back to this thread a year from now and throw it in my face if I'm wrong. But he's 100% going to eat at least one or two of the charges.
