There was one of those that had a glitch in the trade algorithm. Once you got into the 5th round, it would start offering future 1sts for pick exchange. I would trade back and grab 20 or 30 5ths and 6ths then start trading em all for future 1sts. I started doing mocks just to see how many future 1sts I could get. My best draft ever I ended up with over 40. It was funny as hell and I enjoyed it but they finally fixed it.

It matters a lot less when players seek free agency (and the league doesnt get in the way)as often as possible. That allows more sorting for talent needs across the league. The right players get to the right team and so forth.

I think 7 or 8 seed is a reasonable expectation/hope at this point. Maybe Philly really falls off too and 6 could be up for grabs, but that’s a stretch. Magic aren’t that good. Not sure what I think of the Heat, they really shouldn’t be good roster wise but obviously well coached and they’ve had our number forever regardless of who’s on the teams. All that said we do have a pretty tough schedule to close out the year so gotta keep riding this momentum. This season is a massive massive success if we can finish with at least 42 wins and a playoff appearance. Both of those are well within reach.

Ugly win but man it feels good to be “upset” about an ugly win. This team is legit when they can win ugly like this in a game with potentially big playoff implications while down 2 starters.

Unless you get a true franchise HOF trajectory QB pick, age is really irrelevant. Worst case you get 2 contracts out of Shough, barring major i jury, if he's still the guy. How many of us would love to have a QB undoubtably worthy of a 2nd contract? Most of the time you get the 1st contract plus 2 years before the costs on the back end really start making it hard to build a playoff team. Only way around that is exceptional drafting.
