  2. Freshman year he was listed at 235. While Purdue listed him at 280, as was pointed out repeatedly when Bryce was being discussed as the #1 pick, colleges are notorious for adding pounds and inches like pro wrestling. I find it really hard to believe he packed on nearly 50lbs of muscle in a single college offseason. 20 - 30? Yea, I can see that even though it isn't as common. 50 tho? That's a ridiculously massive jump in one offseason. Plus, looking at the 2023 vs 2024 tape, there is a clear size & speed difference. Give the tape a view! You'll like what you see more than being put off by throw away reports.
  3. TMac became a real possibility once Higgins stayed in Cincy and they couldn’t close the Metcalf trade. Obviously had we landed either one of those two guys TMac wouldn’t be a Panther
  4. Never looked at panther tits myself but I'll take your word for it
  5. I put this in the other thread already but Scourton says he was the same weight his sophomore year at Purdue as he was at A&M There’s this and the whole Bryce and TMac working out prior to the draft thing that for whatever reason people keep running with. TMac and Bryce threw together once prior to the draft because they happened to be at the same place. With that said, I’m super interested in seeing what a 255-260 Scourton can do standing up rushing the passer on passing downs

  7. I didn't know about this connection so that definitely makes sense. If we do well then it will bode well for others at PFF too I think so they should definitely be rooting for us now. That's cool too though. Lot's of fans follow PFF so it could raise other's opinions about us as well. I don't care so much what others think but it could bring other benefits like people actually knowing something about our team before dissing us or maybe even dissing us less. I've always felt the Panthers were disrespected beyond just saying we're a bad team. There are historically worse teams that aren't treated as badly.
  8. People are sleeping on this pick, this may be the steal of the draft
  9. It'll come down to Young. If he regresses back to rookie form a bunch of guys will check out and McMillian may be the first. I'll probably be right behind him.

  11. Counterpoint: Darnold wasn't great when he played for us; under different management he turned into gold Similar situation for Mayfield. Wasn't great here, ended up being good down in Tampa Bryce has proven to have skills, but had horrible coaching in year one. Year two shows what coaching changes can do. Sometimes it's not the player per se, but what/who the player is surrounded by that makes the difference
  12. Last off-season: Bryce says he spent the time avoiding football while hanging out with family, playing video games, and shopping. After the rookie season he had, it was probably what he needed to do to get his mind off what happened This off-season: he was playing catch with T-Mac in January and called in to D&D to say, "let's do this". I think we're going to see a different, confident/improved Bryce this year than folks are expecting when compared to how he came in at the start of year 2
  13. Great work on the OP. I saw a workout clip of him after dropping a good bit of weight and he looks fantastic. Playing him at 280 was stupid but being a team guy he did it. Looking for big things from this dude
  14. Yes he was asked to gain weight to play containment end for TAMU
  15. I think this could potentially be a very timely pick up. Low risk and high reward. It is cheap insurance against a season ending or nagging injury to our oldest and most sure handed wr and most reliable slot wr to boot. If AT goes out for any amount of time hopefully HR can pick up the slack without missing a beat.
  16. Cool seeing Dan Morgan on a mainstream show like Pat Mcafee. Good publicity for the Panthers.
