Both those were deals with people he knew socially as well as having worked with them. If you are grousing about the price or the return, that isn’t my point. That is a different thing. I am talking people you don’t really know all that well and maybe haven’t dealt with, and in this context: If they ask about a player and you are known as trustworthy, it is an asset. They will take your word for something and know you aren’t bullshitting them.
