I need to accept that I'm really good at soccer decent at NFL and suck at everything else. Up like 2500 dollars the last 2 months on soccer. Given half back on everything else

Dell getting jersey retired tonight!

Excellent pick up! Kinda surprising too I figured we’d go after a top pass rusher but wasn’t expecting a player like this at another big need position. I mean this is a top notch NFL linebacker.

What to Consider when you Draft in Round 1
DeadpoolPanther replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
With our free agent signings we set ourselves up pretty good for bpa. I’d prob lean def. -
Entertainment bet. Something to keep me occupied until the Carolina game. Hawaii didn't score for the first 4 minutes of the game, and this still got to 90 at half.

Round 1 has to be an impact player, You dont draft an LT to sit behind Walker, same with CB, not drafting to sit behind Horn and Jackson. No center in the 1st available, Carolina traded up to get XL, their not going to rule him out yet so they are stacked at WR, Unless a top10 LB, S, Edge falls, they wont be the pick, that leaves TE and DL. Its between Kenyon Sadiq and Peter Woods

Ouch. We'll get it back!

I was coming here to say exactly this. Siena's lone really good player was literally limping up and down the court from fatigue the last 5 minutes of the game. They went like 7 minutes without scoring, and fatigue was 100% to blame for that. Hard to judge McNamara after all he's done as a player and getting his team to the dance, but man, that was piss poor coaching at it's finest level.

Duke lost me 17 units they can suck my balls. I hope they lose

I had similar thoughts on this recently. Maximizing talent on the team overall given the salary cap means having to replace expensive talent with new talent at a much lower cap number, even if there may be a downgrade in that position group. Take our O-line, for example. We had to spend the money to lift it from the bottom of the barrel but if we want to improve in other areas and pay some players their new contracts, we need to draft their replacements now. A small slip in performance is likely worth 20 million/year in savings and if your new guys are even better than the old ones, you're in really good shape

Play starters the entire game and they run out of gas halfway through the second half

Cam boozer is not an NBA player and the ACC fuging sucks

Dalton never should have been a Panther to begin with. When the reviled Saints discarded him that should have been a glaring sign for any competent franchise but nope. And we gave him two contracts. Not even Marty Hurney would have done that ffs. Even though Morgan is a former Panther and he's certainly a likeable guy it's quite awkward to try and reconcile his talk of wanting dawgs and also us having standards and expectations for every position except starting quarterback. The good thing is more people are starting to wake up and take notice. If our upcoming season goes down the drain due to the QB not being able to get it done then the FO deserves all the smoke.

The white center from Sienna is fuging awful. I've never seen a guy 7 foot tall who cant dunk or finish anything near the rim.

Flag Football game this weekend who watching
Khyber53 replied to fanpanther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Snooooze. Like soccer, flag football is much more fun to play than to watch. -
Zero chance Siena actually pulls this off. Duke players would have to be damn near dead for a team like that to beat them
-
I have them in a parlay live.... But will happily kiss the money goodbye for Duke to lose.

I genuinely do not care who is our QB as long as they are producing at a mid to upper starting NFL QB level. If we do not have that, we should be looking for it. I care about one thing, winning. And it's been 8 damn years and counting since we've had a winning season. For those saying we did some amazing fleece job by selling off Dalton for a 7th, we had to buy that god awful QB contract first to even be able to sell him off. And it's not like it was ever a good signing anyway, because Dalton had already proved his time as a viable backup was over the year before. For all the good things Dan has done this and last off season, the moves regarding the QB room make zero sense at all.

Sounds Good!! The O-Line can use all the help it can get
-
I'm taking a bath so far took Louisville -8 and the under at half then doubled down with 6 minutes left Louisville minus 9 and under with 10 minutes left. Took Duke -28 and over. I have several parlays alive and a huge bet on Duke -9.5 that I don't think will hit.
-
It's the same old same old with that lot. The same people who bash Sam Howell also bashed Caleb Williams. But they'll still make excuses for their guy Bryce after 50+ career starts. Even now in year 4 there will still be people here and across the fanbase that will seek to reset the clock so to speak on Bryce between games. Just wildly hypocritical.

chknwing started following Fun Fact. James Brockermeyer
-
Son of Former Panther Blake Brockermeyer. Blake was selected 29th over all in the Panthers 1st draft in 1995 and played LT for the panthers for 4 years. James is a center out of Miami and probably falls into rounds 4-6.
