Did you watch other games yesterday. I didn't see the chart for Mahomes for example but he played small ball most of the day outside of a few tosses down the field on 50-50 balls his receivers made him look good. Truth is that a smart quarterback takes what the defense gives them and that is what we did. Once we had a lead it was about ball control and just methodically going down the field. It is crazy you win by 30 points and you still have haters trying to diminish what we did and complain. Honestly I think keeping their negative agenda seems more important than the team winning and playing well.

I think this chart is just based on week 3 performance alone. We all know Bryce is well below average. And even then he still sucked in a shut out.

Who knows where it will go next week, but today, at least for a little while it is required and mandatory that you savor a win... A shutout win... A shutout blowout win... A shutout blowout division win... A shutout blowout division win against our most hated rival. Good morning!

This thread has been sorely missed.

Shawn Clark Former App State Coach Passed Away
toldozer replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
Nothing online is showing he passed away outside this post. Not saying you are wrong but where did you get the info? The last thing I see is an article from the 10th about being in stable condition -
Evero didn't play Ransom until late in the 4th quarter. He should have been playing the entire game. But when he was on the field he made a huge difference in the defense. Why Evero holds onto Scott and insists on him starting baffles the crap out of me.

I do think it's because they've been so bad. If we some how lock up a playoff spot late in season he'll be in the locker room dancing Ted Lasso style

Egg salad man. Egg frikkin salad. Who woulda thunk it? Feast on your foes. Patriots next week. Dunkin donuts and baked beans?

Official Week 3: Panthers vs. Falcons Gameday Thread

I certainly wasn't expecting that game. Wow. We've got a lot of work to do still, but that was a nice and welcome refresher. Let's do it again to the next team! -
Wouldn't that be a positive. He does too much bitch, he stays away bitch

So very sorry to hear that. App guy here. Rest in Peace coach. -
Cade Mays should've been the center from the jump. He was Bryce's guy to end last year, why change that up? Also, Canales saying after Week 1 to play the young guys on defense might've been the best thing for us/Evero. Scourton, Princely, and Ransom all show up.

We win 30-0 and Bryce didn't turn the ball over. And people are still finding ways to complain? Never change, Huddle.

If that isn't the game plan every single week then Dave needs to go. It's the only thing we can really do with Bryce super computer Young

Completing passes more than 5 yards is now akin to throwing into double coverage "downfield" and "throwin bombs". Guys. You are in a cult. Full stop.

Fitz-magic Panthers style. What impressed me was that he doesn’t need a line drive to kick the ball out of the stadium. This gave the coverage team much more time to get to get off of their blocks. Showing enormous confidence in the kicker is huge. Yips have ruined many good kicker’s careers. If 50 yard FGs become routine, winning close games on the last possession just got much less difficult.

No XL, Coker, or Jimmy - only 1 reliable downfield threat guys. Bryce had some doinks, but his lone deep ball was on the money for the 2nd straight week and Tet couldn't haul it in one-handed. Yall need to chill - could definitely be better but seriously you expected the gameplan with 2 OL and 3 deep WR's out that we would be throwin bombs?

Official Week 3: Panthers vs. Falcons Gameday Thread

Decided last minute to to take family to game. Cheap tickets sec 134 (which is kindof sad in of itself) made the 10 hour roundtrip and glad as hell I did. - Defense played out of their mind. Mike Jack smithwade looking at you -Penix is fuging terrible, not worried about him at all - Falcons, wtf were you doing, running when you should be passing and vice versa. Why the fug didnt you run the ball on us? - Canales, I get you are green but damn man tighten up your time management - We won so not going to bag on Bryce too much but yeah man to argue he isnt limited is lol funny - We finally have a kicker and that feels kindof good all things considered - someone earlier mentioned tepper and we didnt see him in the box the entire game, not sure what thats about -Chubba, Sanders and Tet took some absolute monster shots and popped back up, not sure how they do it because it sounds horrific. Chubba took one right in front of us and he got up laughing. wow -
My exact list for the shout outs in the same order (though I admittedly had the rookie edges @ #4 and Fitz @ #1)

We won, but Bryce and Canalas still blow
Icege replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yesterday was also the first time we saw all three phases of this team play complimentary football during not just Canales' tenure but Young's as well. While he didn't have to light it up through the air, he did spread the ball around to nine different players. TMac's drops hurt, but the team was able to rally still thanks to the defense finally getting to play with a lead. Plus, TMac still had his positive moments like the catch and run as well as the poster-shot he created by climbing the ladder. I hope that this lit a fire under XL. With Tremayne's emergence and Coker coming back from IR in the next 1 - 3 weeks there is going to be less patience with his issues. Let's not forget though the most important thing to watch for: how XL responds to the adversity. Nobody is going to have a perfect career, but how they handle the down lows will be what gives them a chance to get back to experiencing the highs again.
