Yep, it's the reality of pro sports. If you're not gonna make the playoffs you're better off being as bad as possible. All that talk about morale victories and building a winning culture and we just continue to suck year after year. Not sucking enough is what led us to make that desperation trade up for Bryce.

Depends on what 4th place teams you get. Having teams like the Vikings and Bengals be the 4th place teams you have to play isn't much better than the 2nd place alternatives IMO. Teams improve/get worse year-to-year, so I don't think schedule strength is that big of a deal, especially when injuries like Mahomes tearing his ACL happens. Chiefs will be a 4 win team next year if Mahomes doesn't play in 2026

Still amazed he wasn't fired after last year. Announcers questioned yesterday why Derrick Brown was backed off in pass coverage on an important down. Likewise, he had guys playing way too far off the line (past the first down sticks) all too often. Expect he's gone next year either way.

Not a player within ten yards. I dont think Bryce is to blame for the Saints loss but if we look to upgrade the Qb position I won't complain.

You want to place all the blame on one guy because you don’t understand ball. Yeah we have money tied up in an offensive line that can’t pass block well, and wasn’t run blocking well yesterday. 2nd and 21 and Bryce threw the best pass this franchise has seen in easily 7 years for a touchdown

Evero has his weaknesses, but it's hard to tell how much of it is him when we have a comically bad pass rush. Crazy enough, this is probably the most I have seen him blitz this year and I think it failed every single time. Usually our only chance at a sack is if DB beats the double team and gets interior pressure. Otherwise, the QB will have at least 5 seconds to throw the ball

Disagree, but it doesn't matter. Evero's contract is up at season's end and I haven't seen anyone suggest the Panthers will bring him back.

Same thing i thought when I saw the x first..... If he steps up hes on the X here and Young gets washed down/out were the arrow goes.... Im also not even gonna mention he had 15 yards of green grass to run if he steps up to the same spot because the saints completely blew containment.

We are near the bottom in 3rd down defense this season and this past game against a 3-10 Saints team whereas we couldn't even get off the field on 3rd and long situations illustrated that.

No idea of the prospects but look for an overlooked experienced QB to draft. Maybe trying to find another Tyler Shough is wishful thinking but it's something.
