  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah, Shanahan helped him a lot. Also, I think he is the type of player that needs about 7-8 years in the NFL to mature. People forget that he had a lifetime total of three years playing QB going into college at USC. He should have stayed in school his entire career and his NFL transition may not has been as rough.
  3. Oh, no doubt he wanted to catch it. You could tell immediately he was upset with himself. I'm sure it is hard to capitalize on something like that when it happens so rarely.
  4. Eh. I mean you gotta catch that. He knows it. I don't think this is losing your job worthy. He just needs to fix the concentration.
  5. Is this his 4th team already? Panthers, Jets, Vikings and Seahawks?
  6. I remember he led a comeback and nearly beat us 2 years ago on Christmas Eve. I’m happy we don’t have to face him again this season.
  7. I like the John Fox model. Let's do that. Pretty cool analysis, thanks for putting it together.
  8. I mean Bryce could play well. He changed some minds late last year, but it appears it was an aberration based on his overall play this year.
  9. Same thing as the hit on Bryce. Was it technically a penalty? No. Contact was made before he went out of bounds. HOWEVER- Do the exact same thing to Patrick Mahomes and see how many games you miss.
  10. He is a good QB. Hope he has a bright future for you guys.
  11. Canales is in the middle of the most critical point of his Panthers tenure: The 2nd half of the 2nd season. Looking back here is how the other head coaches performed to this point and how their time here pivoted. Dom Capers First 26 Games: 13-13 2nd Half of 2nd Season: (1996) won final 7 games to win division, took Panthers to NFC Championship Game. Final Record/Accomplishments: 30-34; NFC West Division Title-1996 George Seifert First 26 Games: 12-14 2nd Half of 2nd Season: (2000) Finished 3-3 with mixed results in games; finished 1-15 the following season. Final Record/Accomplishments: 16-32; None. John Fox First 26 Games: 15-11 2nd Half of 2nd Season: (2003) corrected the season after a strong start and mid-year stumble to win division, Won NFC Championship Game. Final Record/Accomplishments: 73-71; (1) Conference Championship; (3) Playoff Appearances; (2) Division Titles. Ron Rivera First 26 Games: 8-18 2nd Half of 2nd Season: (2012) Won 5/6 remaining games; finished 12-4 following season and won division. Final Record/Accomplishments: 76-63-1; (1) Conference Championship; (4) Playoff Appearances; (3) Division Titles; (2) COY Awards Matt Rhule First 26 Games: 10-16 2nd Half of 2nd Season: (2021) Lost final 7 games in a row, terminated 5 games into following season. Final Record/Accomplishments: 11-27; None. Dave Canales First 26 Games: 10-16 2nd Half of 2nd Season: TBD Final Record/Accomplishments: TBD The writing was on the wall at the end of Rhule and Seifert’s 2nd season, while Capers, Fox, and Rivera all finished strong and rallied. To be fair, Capers 1997 and 1998 seasons weren’t great, but he was faced with adversity and still managed to leave with at least one successful season...thanks to the second half of his 2nd season.
  12. There are always a few head scratcher calls a game on us. That was bshit
  13. Honestly unless the Packers WR in the end zone was disqualified from tackling, he was literally right behind him ready to tackle him at the 5 yard line. Probably better he dropped it field position wise unless people think Mike Jack has Ted Ginn speed or something.
  14. Wild take. So you think guys like Drake Maye are a waste of draft capital?
  15. Probably this.. he was thinking "holy crap, I can return this for a touchdown" then when the ball got to him he dropped it...
  16. He put his line in the sand on Bryce way back. Nothing Bryce can do will change these haters minds.
  17. Watching the highlights, this'll be an interesting one to see the film breakdowns of from a passing standpoint.
  18. Darnold is a great quarterback when.... The oline is elite and doesn't give up any pressure. We saw what happened to darnold here and with minny when the oline allows pressure - he starts seeing ghosts and throws bad passes... Don't get me wrong. I still wish he was here - but he is a quarterback that will crumble when faced with adversity
  19. Except Bryce right? You are constantly bashing him
  20. Daniels is very slightly built for an NFL QB. Basically a taller version of Bryce Young with a playing style that leaves him a lot more open for hits. I'm honestly not surprised the injuries are starting to pile up.
  21. Sounds like an Evero issue if Horn isn't shadowing WR1 lol.
  22. It always turns into a Bryce bashing session around here but he was the consensus #1 pick in that draft. Not his fault where he was drafted either.
  23. Completely agree that no W is off the table but considering some of our losses no L is off the table either… Team is inconsistent, not surprising for a young team finding its identity. 2 division games coming up, both games we should win but division games are always tough/weird. I’ll start believing we could be a playoff team if we take care of business these next 2 games. After that schedule gets tough again.
  24. I'm glad we don't have him, actually. Gano played as well as he did, and isn't a massive turd either. Kicker is the least of our problems right now. QB eval is.
  25. Horn doesnt shadow. And QBs dont throw at him. So Mike Jack is fighting for his life every snap
