  1. Past hour
  2. Too early for this topic, but Canales offense has no creativity. Go look at Shanahan, every game he schemes up a wide open WR for giant gains on easy passes.
  3. Raccoon sandwiches and Netflix crime docs
  4. There is a real chance they could lose out. That should shut any door into year 3. Gifted wins aren't coming together this year apparently. It's a trainwreck so it's hard for me to see the conductor surviving that but then there is Evero in year 3 so who knows with these dummies
  5. Wait for the prevent D down by multiple scores to pad the box score stats like usual.
  6. To be fair. Our GM is the assistent of the worst GM in NFL history. We pay trillions of dollars on the Oline and cant pass protect or run. We pay trllions of dollars on the D-dine and cant pass rush. We cant draft. We are a bad team. With a bad owner and really bad management.
  7. Stud: WR Tetairoa McMillan In the midst of all the incompetence and mediocrity, there's one shining hope for the future of this franchise. Rookie wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan led the team with six catches and 100 receiving yards. He also had an extremely impressive one-handed catch wiped out becaue he couldn't quite stay in-bounds. McMillan is a bit slower, but there are flashes of some Julio Jones in his game. His route running and YAC ability are both far better than they were advertised coming out of the draft. Or, you know, exactly what anyone who watched enough of his tape would have known. Honestly, our Arizona board could never understand this knock on him in the pre-draft process, because we all knew it wasn't true. And sure, we're fans who watched all his games, but you'd think the experts who supposedly watch all the snaps of these type of prospects would have been seeing it too, it was glaringly obvious to us. Seriously, how many times did I say here that he could run every route needed? How many times did I talk about his surprisingly good run after catch ability for someone his size? How he wasn't a burner, but he was amazingly smooth for a 6'5" WR? As I've said, only 2 players from Arizona, both football and basketball, have I ever felt they were 1 million percent can't miss stars in the pros. T-Mac and Gronkowski, that's it. One is the greatest TE in NFL history, the other is about to take Smitty's mantle as the Panthers WR GOAT when all is said and done.
  8. Not a 100 million dollar player . Never was never will be . Vastly overrated
  9. He does nothing to change the game he’s a jag tired of that bs excuse me.
  10. Today
  11. But but squirrels and raccoons
  12. And here I thought this would be a thread commending him for not missing after all the talk before the season about replacing him already. I should have known better. Negativity only around here lately. Eddy Pineiro missed an extra point.
  13. Ok cool, then we get Jalon Walker or Mykel Williams. Having an elite WR is cool if you have a decent QB to get him the ball. Hell, the Vikings have THE best WR in the league and still can't do sh*t because McCarthy is trash. And there's no guarantee we don't draft Tet even had we drafted Ladd. Either way, that combo of Ladd + Tet or Walker would have changed the trajectory of this team. But no, we not only trade up for Legette, but chose the wrong WR. Where have I've heard this before?
  14. They really would have been a perfect pairing of WRs as they're both so good, yet complete opposite types of players. But with all our holes on defense, if Ladd showed the same potential had we drafted him, no way they could have justified going WR again, even I might have been against it (okay, we all know that's not true, I'd still haver taken my guy, but I'd at least have admitted it wasn't smart).
  15. They try so hard to be the smartest ones in the room rather than taking the players that are more obviously going to be good. I think that is largely driven by who the owner is. They want to do it "their" way, but their way has been wrong a whole lot more than it has been right.
  16. Run the ball 50 times, averaging 3ish yards per carry and hope like hell to limit their possessions. If they don't play keep-away, Atlanta is going to do to us what Double Trouble used to do to teams. They could put up 40 points and pass the ball less than 10 times.
  17. When the radio keeps playing the same song you kinda know what's coming next
  18. 100% agree. If the choice is XL+TMAC or Ladd and No TMAC, I want the option with T-MAC. But my goodness if they still double dipped and got Ladd last year and TMAC this year, that is a duo you could build around for a decade.
  19. Everos gonna be like “you think I’d have told you my plan if there was any way you could stop me? dave Canales was fired 17 minutes ago.”
  20. The 2nd one of course, but as I've said a bunch of times today already, if we drafted Ladd, we wouldn't have taken another WR in the 1st this year. And sure, Ladd is absurdly better than XL, but T-Mac is going to be that much better than Ladd that it will work out better for us in the long run. Now, some bizzaro universe where we drafted both Ladd and T-Mac, good lord that combo would be crazy, I could probably play QB there and throw for 200+ yards a game.
  21. These two are going to hurt like an mf-er for a LONG time. 2. McConkey > Leggette - this was such an obvious choice 4. CJ Stroud > Bryce - SHOULD have been an easy decision as soon as we traded a king's ransom.
  22. We just suck at drafting and have had the worst GMs and scouts in the NFL for a while now Here are some easy decisions we could have made that were even OBVIOUS at the time that would have helped our team get some impact players throughout the last few years. 1. Payton Wilson > Trevin Wallace - like seriously, who tf even knew who Trevin Wallace even was? 2. McConkey > Leggette - this was such an obvious choice 3. Trey Smith > a fuggin long snapper - nothing else to say 4. CJ Stroud > Bryce - SHOULD have been an easy decision as soon as we traded a king's ransom. 5. Zach Frazier > Jonathan Brooks - Like WTF are we drafting an INJURED RB in the 2nd round when we already have Chuba. We've been avoiding drafting a center for how long now for some reason even though we've needed one ever since Kalil retired. These aren't "hindsight is 20-20" either, these are picks the majority of the huddle wanted at the time of our selection that were available. Instead we continue to draft players who just has high RAS scores with no regard to their actual film or stats in college. If you wonder why we continue to field the worst roster in the league, this is why.
