I have no idea if he was told something that reasonably made him expect he'd have more say in the QB decision or I'd he simply thought he'd be able to be more persuasive through the process but there seemed to be a noticeable shift in his energy and engagement once we honed in on Bryce and I don't think that went unnoticed by Tepper leading to the quick dismissal once everything headed south.
