  1. Past hour
  2. I posted that on reddit! anyway Tre'von is on a redemption tour, turns out Jennings is a hoe
  3. Hornets swept the weekend as well!
  4. If we keep winning with him, I expect him to stay. And honestly, if we do keep winning, I won't give a sh-t how it's happening or who's most / least responsible for it.
  5. As long as he’s not hurting people it’s kind of hilarious how vile Jennings trash talk must be for a bunch of NFL players to condone him getting punched in the beanbag. I wonder if he’s got some mental issues going on.
  6. People have cried about Canales and his oddball playcalls that were exactly the same thing he pulled today. How many 3rd/4th and shorts has Dave called some deep incompletion…..it’s happened a bunch this season. Hell, pretty sure the exact one to Coker was a couple weeks ago on 3rd and short. It was incomplete and people trashed him for a low % play when only needing whatever it was He hid Bryce Young the entire game and treated him like he was just picked up this week and then on 4th and short had him go deep. It was bad playcalling that worked out great. Or the huddle has been trashing great playcalling all season as Dave being dumb
  7. He coached a hell of a game today.
  8. They were both 20+ yards downfield. Do you not see the defender a half step away from Coker? If you watch the McMillan play, when Bryce throws the ball, McMillan is running horizontally, covered. Bryce leads him upfield and Tmac drifts up with the ball, creating all the separation. They are perfectly thrown balls downfield on 4th down for touchdowns. DOTS
  9. JMO, but the only reason he made it through this season is we did everything possible to keep a backup that was worse than Bryce. Dalton was washed lasted year. How he got a 2 year contract is beyond me. Year 1 was one of the worst years ever for a rookie QB. Nowhere to go but up. Year 2 he was benched 2 games in until Dalton for hurt in a car accident. Then he played better but we were out of it and the pressure was off. Year 3 has been well below average with a few bright spots here and there. Year 4 maybe average might be a guess, but that's stretching it IMO.
  10. That's likely going to tell the story. He'll have two weeks to prepare, so no excuses.
  11. You don't rotate offensive linemen dude shown me one time thats happened for us that wasnt because of a player leaving due to injury or a jumbo package ill wait.
  12. I didn't say I thought throwing it was a bad decision, I said I thought not running those 3-5 yard routes to pick up the 1st down wasn't a great call. Yes the play worked out, but I didn't love the play call, it's like when a bad shooter is taking a 3 and you're yelling "no no no" as they're going up and then they make it so it worked out. That's still gambling on them to make the play and I take no issue with that. But I just went and watched the play again, we had T-Mac and XL running downfield crossing routes, Coker went in motion behind the LOS and then moved up a yard or two after the snap but not even past the LOS, Sanders chipped the DE and then ran a drag route right long the LOS. The play worked out, but I don't really like that particular play call and route tree with the game on the line on a 4th and 2. If you want to send one route downfield as an option that's fine, but there were only 2 realistic target options with that route tree and they were both 15-20 yards downfield. This is just before Bryce is going to throw it. You have 2 players off screen downfield, one player who ran a route that never had a chance to get open and didn't even get to the 1st down line, another player just at the line to gain but late in the route because of a chip (and the worst pass catcher of the 4). Do you really think that was a "good play call" in that situation? I very much do not think so, I think it was a terrible call that just happened to turn out well for us. Which is great that it worked out, but it's one of a whole lot of examples from both this week and the whole season as to why I'm not a Canales fan. Had we not converted the play, the discussion wouldn't be about Bryce making a bad throw as much as a terrible play call in the situation, same goes for the Coker play.
  13. If BY comes back, they 100% need to bring in legit competition. Heres what as you are alluding too. This team can either sign Icky&Mays or BY, I do not see both without cuts/trades/etc. My vote is for Icky&Mays, draft a QB....
  14. JB shouldn’t even be a thought IMO. Bonus if he ever matters for us.
  15. We already have Hunt coming back. We have a firm left side, some decent depth pieces and good to potentially very good OL coaching. We need a true, full time center and possibly a replacement right tackle but maybe Moton returns to form or one of our backups earns the job. So basically... yeah I think we do.
  16. We’re gonna love having a fresh Rico Dowdle coming off the bench when the games really matter against the Bucs. Hubbard got healthy at just the right time when Dowdle started wearing down. Having two backs who can carry the load is a necessity in a 17 game NFL season.
  17. As for all the people hyping up Dowdle and downplaying Chuba for the hundreth time, the likelihood of Chuba getting chopped in favor of Dowdle is not very high. There is probably even less of a likelihood that he's our RB1 once a healthy JB enters the equation. That's just the way it is.
  18. I'm so thrilled for this win! Proud of Canales for staying aggressive, proud of Bryce for some clutch throws on third and fourth down, proud of Coker for making big catches, proud of Chuba for stepping up big, proud of Mike Jack for a pick-six, proud of T-Mac for making his one catch count, proud of Brown for being a legend on defense yet again, proud of the whole team.
  19. Well when other men are out there defending you for punching another man in the ballbag, that dude SUCKS. Shouldn’t have been suspended I take back saying it was a bad decision. Now I gotta know what Jennings was saying to get punched in the sack. Even Pat Surtain said this was justified. Should have never been suspended!
  20. Rico really regretting that tweet and calling out Dave. Dave went from forced to acknowledge Rico was better and go with a lead RB…. to 100% committed to a 50/50 split after calling out the whack 49er gameplan
  21. This is kind of why I keep warning some of our more "special" Huddlers when they pine after guys like Hendon Hooker and Mike White. It is actually possible to be worse than Bryce Young, believe it or not.
  22. I didn't think he'd make it through this season. One point someone else made though was that his year two was better than his year one, and his year three was even better than year two. So what happens in year four? I don't think it's likely, but right now I can't really deny it's possible.
  23. I approve of that message, but do we have the capital---draft and real---to make an impact? Intellectually, I think this may be true, but I have a difficult time believing that this is in the realm of reality, especially the 1a part of the equation. I know that it seems like we've been down this road before, but the remaining regular season games may just tell the story about how serious the need is for a QB. And even with that, I hope that this FO hasn't already made up its mind that we have our short or long term answer at the position. Moreover, keep in mind that Bryce is actually playing for something more than moral victories this time.
