Didn't Icky recently have an appendectomy? I wouldn't be surprised if we're playing coy on the injury reports because it seems pretty wild that he'd be ready to play football so soon afterwards.

My expectations for this season are the same they’ve been since Tepper started screwin the pooch. I expect them to go to Jacksonville and make at least one of their players look like a future HOFer.

Sure glad we take it easy on the players so they don’t get hurt before the season starts. Could you imagine if 4 of our 11 starters on offense went down just prior to our 1st game?

This is the not panicked take. Sucks about Icky but hopefully its only 1 game.

Hunt came back for drills after tweaking his foot, but they pulled him out of precaution. I dont think there's any real concern about Lewis & Hunt for Sunday. I think it's a long shot for Icky to play though. I really hope we are getting some of these random injuries out early and we will have health luck throughout the season. Regardless, I'm glad we have depth, although I'm not pumped to see Yosh Nijman out there. I've yet to see anything in his play that has warranted the investment by the team, but Sunday is his biggest chance yet to prove his value. We'll see

Two key guys we've tied up a ton of salary cap in dealing with nagging injuries before the season even starts. Same old Panthers.
