I want to think they’re trolling but I honestly don’t think they are. I think they actually want him to be QB. Some were the same ones screaming about Justin Fields being good. I can’t believe they even watch football.

Bryce is really good at making games competitive. Mainly games we should win easily, but also games against the Atlanta Falcons (and apparently the Packers).

For real. It’s been a long time. What did we do that called for: -7 if not 8 straight losing seasons -Scott Fitterer era -Bryce Young era -Shitty Grass -Frank Reich era I know teams go through bad times. 15-20 years ago the 49ers, Rams, Bills, Texans, Chiefs, Lions, were all garbage and went forever without playoff births. We are almost a decade into this, when does it fuging turn.

This is what I've said. Bryce talks, walks, and sounds like he is still in high school. Your QB needs to be able to take command of a locker room and a team. The QB has to be very alpha! Just look at Drake Maye in his first year. Look at how he sounds and carries himself. Bryce just does not have that intangible. And it's not just about his size. It's about his confidence and his belief in his ability. He doesn't have that dog in him to be the best at his position. You can hear it and see it. Can he get there? He's still just a kid... but he needs grow a pair quickly!

He has one or two reads at best. This being the guy we drafted for this "processing speed". He just does not see the blatantly obvious open receiver ever. Just forces it into his first or second progression.

I don’t really want to give up on Canales because the team is getting better since he took over. I do think that is more due to Morgan than him. I think he needs to get his 3rd year for sure. I was okay with firing Rhule after his 2nd year because of the dysfunction and him really just being a dumbass. It was clear he hit his ceiling. I was okay with firing Reich because it was very clear he did not give a single poo anymore. Other than Canales having to work with Bryce, the other issue is the job wasn’t attractive at the time, and Tepper wanted an Offensive Coach. Dave was just learning how to be an OC in Tampa when he became a HC here, he’s still learning to be an OC really and who knows maybe he will be a good one someday. He’s 11-18 with 5 games left. Rivera was 13-19 and even Shanahan was 10-22 after his first two seasons. Year 3 will be telling for DC.
