The narrative is that Young is not being given the support that he needs to develop properly. So, he clearly needs a top 5 defense, the most expensive oline money can buy, pro bowl running back, all pro wrs, and a hof te. Additionally, coach needs to be a COY candidate. If these simple needs cannot be satisfied, then Young will just not reach his potential, and that is 100% the fault of the team.

TD wasn't anything either. Huge lane and he still hesitated to pull it down and run.

This is my point. Our offense has sucked all damn year. We’ve been finding a way to squeak out games. My main point is everyone is slitting their throats in true huddle fashion and the bottom line is this is where we are as a roster and as a team. Is Bryce the long term answer- probably not. Is our offense explosive- hell no. But in my opinion, we are ahead of schedule and we are drafting very well so stop all the incessant negativity and bitching.

If we were playing any other team with Bryce as their starting QB we'd be licking our chops and cheering their HC stupidity.

The bad thing is I’m not even surprised by his performance today. No one should be surprised.

The flaw in this, is that this is not an isolated incident. This isn't the only game where it has looked like this, and he has performed like this. So yes, we were facing a top tier defense. I guess we were facing the best defense in the league with every loss though.

Clausen only had 13 pass attempts Twitter is claiming you would have to go back to 1980 to find less pass yards with a QB getting 24 attempts. We might of witnessed legit franchise history again

I’ve said it multiple times in other threads already and I’ll say it again. Jimmy Clausens worst game he had 7/13 completions for 36 yards and 1 INT. Bryce was not far off from that today in the biggest game of his career. Clausen wasn’t in his third year either…he was a rookie with a coach (John Fox), who didn’t even try, just out of spite because he was a lame duck coach.
