Jumping to conclusions here. Something changed in between when he re-upped his contract for this year and today. I don't think he was planning this. We like to argue if you can draw any valid conclusions from preseason. But it looks like maybe Adam Thielen drew his own and asked for a trade.

I mean I don't really harbor any ill will against him. We kinda put ourselves in this situation by talking him out of retirement. He looked like he hated football at times last year and the year before. I just wouldn't run defense for him in the media. I'd rather have 5'11, 190 lbs, can run routes better than the corners can. Why does Canales want jump ball receivers? What is his angle here? Bryce played in a high percentage offense in college, with guys who were both fast and excellent route runners. So he comes here and we do the exact opposite.
