  1. Past hour
  2. It won't improve. It will look better for a few quarters only by throwing deeper interceptions until Andy inevitably crashes.
  3. Looking at the numbers (plus Carolina being able to move the ball across midfield before shitting out), it's hard to believe the score was 13 - 42. Any time the offense got across midfield the clamps got put on. Situational football was a nightmare yesterday. Dragged ass (and got asses dragged) in all three phases of the game like what they had done to Atlanta the week before.
  4. I can believe that we have good weeks at practice. The problem is that it's ass vs. ass. Our offense is ass and our defense is ass. When we have to face outside competition that isn't ass or at least isn't as mega ass as we are then it's a problem.
  5. No I'm saying they can't afford it. The team has 10m in cap space in 2026. If the roll over everything, they'll have 28m in cap space and need around 11m for draft picks. They can't afford to trade Horn or Moton at all and trading Brown would leave them very little space.
  6. Maybe, but we're still left with the same choices regardless of who is making them.
  7. They will stick it out with who they have now this season. They have no other choice. Next year this group may not be here to select the next group of qb's to battle with.
  8. Young’s bummy but if you can only work with a specific archetype of a QB you’re not a good coach and you definitely shouldn’t be calling plays. Felt the same way about Reich not even trying once he realized he didn’t have Andrew Luck to make him look good anymore.
  9. I watch them all the time. Didn’t share them as no time to consolidate they are seldom wrong
  10. A 0.0 on 10 pass block snaps is insane. If things slow down later today I'm hoping to get a chance to start watching the all-22. The review thread is not going to be fun to have to put together this week.
  11. Do you think this team worries about dead cap? This team has been FUBAR long before Tepper arrived. Their contracts are set up for a win now team with their money allocated in the wrong positions with older players. If they were truly rebuilding their would be more rookie contracts and little to no vet contracts over 2 years. By the time they get enough talented rookies on this team that will nedd second contracts they will still have all their money tide up in aging gets. Its FUBAR.
  12. I can agree with the taking chances part but his YPA, which everyone complains about with BY, aren't any better. I say this as a BY supporter but at this point, I would put Dalton in just to see how much, if any, the offense improves. My guess would be not much if any.
  13. A 0 in blocking for Zavala is incredible. How is he on the roster? The fact our linebackers suck is maybe the worst thing though. In a 3-4 that's the most important position. We drafted great linebackers consistently for decades before this stupid shift to the 3-4 and now we just have garbage
  14. I didn't watch or listen to any of the post yesterday, was too disgusted, but I saw this today and I noticed something. I noticed 2 things. First, Just something that personally bothers me is Im so fugging tired of hearing people in our Locker room say "we had a good week of practice"... Seriously, We hear it from Jaycee, Bryce, DB and Chuba, and while I love em and love their effort, They have NEVER been part of a winning team in the NFL. None of them know what a REAL good week of practice looks like. Sure you can have some weeks where things go wrong and even a good week of practice helps, but when its EVERY week, then well...maybe something isnt being done during the week. The second thing I noticed was an omission in his statement. Someone was missing in that list. Ya know TEAM LEADERS. Lets see, Captains for the year are DB, JJ Jansen and theres some other guy...I dunno WHO it could be.... Honestly though, when your QB, your THIRD YEAR QB, and THIRD TIME team captain QB is NOT a team leader...holy poo youve got massive problems.
  15. Well obviously we'd need to draft our guy long-term, but this upcoming QB class isn't looking very good so it's likely going to be at least 2027 before we draft a QB early again. It's either try to find a decent bridge QB or stick it out with Bryce. I don't know of any other options.
  16. If Canales had this team showing signs of progress being made then I’d be all for giving him more time but he’s not This is the exact same team/crap we saw for the bulk of last year. The floor for me this season was 6-7 wins. There needs to be improvement of some sort. 6 wins while being competitive I probably could’ve lived with but we’re not even that. Our 3 losses have been blow outs. I left at halftime in Arizona so is that late comeback considered us being competitive? Either way our 3 losses have been fu*king UGLY. There’s been no signs of life which is why I believe both Dan and Dave need to go asap So many Tepper can convince the next guy he’ll have a longer leash if he’s capable of showing that there’s progress being made year to year
  17. To put these numbers into better focus, panthers overall had better “offensive efficiency” than the patriots.
  18. LOL he will be the next Zach Wilson & Trey Lance
  19. All of this is well and good but the issue still sits in the owner's chair. Dave Tepper is hands on and a decision maker with no idea of how to run a football team. Good people don't want to come here and that starts at the top. He needs to be an owner and that's it. Hire a president of football operations that knows what he's doing and build down from there. The only identity this team has right now is get paid/get fired retirement fund. Until that changes, nothing else matters.
  20. Might be WR3 if Coker comes back and lights it up but XL doesn't. Gonna pull for XL til he's no longer a Panther regardless. I gotta support folks from the Carolinas when they make it to the league.
  21. Starting Zavala over Christensen was always a head-scratcher to me. Brady should be the first guy off the bench at every position.
  22. If any backup qb out there had any potential to be a starter they would be a starter already. A backup is a backup for a reason. They are the last resort when the starter goes down. When the starter goes down for more then a few games their teams season is over. Looking for someone's backup as a future starter is a waste a time and energy. Also teams do not develop qbs outside of their starter.
  23. Darnold and Mayfield at least have redeemable NFL qualities and BY doesn't. He'd have to be on a roster full of all pro's to look serviceable.
