Evero is an easy box to check for the Rooney rule. Bring him in, he's not a real candidate, but you're technically in compliance. Then hire Jeff Saturday or Dan Orlovsky.

I think that would be fine for him if he was still at FAU but being at elite schools you expect(especially in the modern day) that part of the draw of elite programs is NFL preparation. That's where he fails fairly consistently. Especially when you compare him to someone like Lincoln Riley who has a long track record of producing NFL QB's.

Doesn't coaches normally get hired in January? And the new year starts officially in march? So could net compensatory picks depending on what his current and new contracts says about contract lenght and the wording of the NFL rules.
