  3. The time to do that has passed. It was during the offseason and the draft. I mean....the message was sent years ago when this roster was destroyed and subsequently never went anywhere.
  4. Tepper is on his 3rd GM . About 2 years is the current tenure
  5. Burns and Reddick were essentially the same player here, minus the Spiderman sack celebration.
  6. I've been assured this is absolutely not the case because there are big linemen in college too.
  7. It isn't. This was Week 18 last year: And this was Week 16: Even when having success he wasn't pushing the ball super deep down field, but at least he was going beyond 15 yards far more often. Across those 60 attempts he had 9 completions past or at 15 and 6 at 20 or beyond... Plus a whole bunch of drops. This year he just isn't pushing the ball down the field and it's making it easy for teams to play the run, too. Due to his arm I think he needs to get timing down past 10 yards and maybe the big turnover in our receivers is part of why he isn't pushing the ball down field. Or maybe he can't see. Whatever the reason it needs to change.
  8. We disagree then. You want to talk about someone not being worth the money? That’s why Burns is gone. A guy that is a definite liability in the run game isn’t worth close to what the Giants gave him. I am glad they let him go because I definitely did not want to pay him that. I wish we’d have taken the Rams’ offer but oh well we had to waste our own picks on Bryce.
  9. Burns was and is not worth what he is getting paid(like you are saying about Brown). Good player, for sure, but never has been dominant. Likely never will be.
  10. Today
  11. I didn’t see that. Wow. Of course, the hamstring thing smells like raccoon road kill. I expected something g to happen when Coker got healthy, just because it will be so thin with no Legette, no Coker, no AT.
  12. I watch him enough . I know what he can and can’t do . Propping him up for 100 tackles but only 8 came in the backfield isn’t as impressive as many try to make it out to be . He be invisible way too much to make 100 million .
  13. Good we put zero effort into the qb room two off seasons in a row
  14. Watch some of Jalen Carter tape he does the same and actually finish his tackles in the backfield . If all brown is , is a glorified nose tackle then we over paid for his services . Too many games where you never notice him. He should be a game wrecker at a 100 million he’s not . Burns actually produced here but the huddle hated him for some odd reason . The huddle hates anyone that produces then when they shining on another team they cry about why we let them go .
  15. The thing that tells me this is the QB room. It is like he made a deal with Morgan and Canales that Bryce was to be given whatever it takes to succeed. Every decision had him at the center of it. That is why Brooks (his pass catching was suppposed to be best in the RB class). Obviously the heavy focus on upgrading the offensive personnel was part of it. And the lameness of the 3rd QB, bringing back Bryce’s service ginger. That was all dictated if you ask me. And that, is all negotiated by at the top and allows Tepper to look like he took the big step back during the draft and in season, for those concerned about that. The same type of deal as the 3-4, that is a condition of employment.
  16. You never know what you got until it’s gone. We did move too quick in tearing everything down in 2018/2019. Sadly, I don’t see the light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to this organization. A lot more losing.
  17. We’re not going to win much of anything with charts that look like this. Only 1 pass completed beyond 20 yards. Thats not going to cut it.
  18. And you absolutely know nfl defensive coordinators see this
  19. I remember Wilks being very complimentary to Baker for the way he handled himself. Mostly how he responded when Wilks committed to Darnold, I think. We would have been so much better off if Baker had played well and we kept him and DJ and the number 9 and all the rest of our picks.
  20. Yup. 1 completion beyond 20 yards and only 3 past 15 yards. That's in 77 attempts. I'm not one that thinks Bryce needs to hit 40 yard passes but with how defenses play us he needs to push the ball a bit further down field.
  21. You got that right. Those linebackers are a waste of a roster spot. Wallace looks just like he looked last season. Slow, getting pushed around, completely ineffective.
  22. Given the idiocy of our big bass man I wouldn’t bet that he’s gone. He’s liable to win four or five and get those stats where Tepper looks at it and says if he just had a better coach. And here we go again for four more years of the tippy toe offense.
  23. Its bad but we're only 2 games in. Just accepting it and doing nothing sends a worse message IMO. We should make a move for a QB that we could at minimum have as legit camp competition next year so we can move on from Dalton.
  24. There was nothing wrong with moving on with Ron and Marty. But who knew Tepper would hold a limbo contest and see just how low under that bar we could go. So he held tryouts.
  25. The Panthers would have a better draft if they did a fan poll or Madden sim to decide their pick.
  26. The true meaning of addition by subtraction
  27. I think it was time to move on from Ron and Hurney, the team was stagnant. But I don't think any of us could have anticipated how much worse the organization could have been after them. I guess that's why they say "It could be worse."
