  1. Past hour
  2. I am enthused but also I have seen this movie before
  3. Sad news. Mastodon wasnt one of my favorite bands but they were always in rotation
  4. You should know the Panthers MO by now... Terrible most of the year then win 1 or 2 meaningless games to end the season, drop 5-10 spots in the draft, and lose out on a franchise QB
  5. Watching Plummer play QB for this team will do it to the best of us...
  6. I'm at about a 5. I am somewhat optimistic. Subject to change week to week. But i don't think I can reasonably go any higher than a five.
  7. All time high, equal to the 2 week lead up to the SB's, if not even greater. You all know why, so don't call me crazy, lol
  8. I’m excited. It’s a new season, anything can happen. Cherish these moments. Last season it literally only lasted until game 1 so enjoy this while it lasts. Also, look at it this way, one way or another we will have a franchise QB next year. Either Bryce shows he’s that guy this year and it’s a great season, or we crash and burn and have a high draft pick in a strong QB class. No matter what, this season will provide answers and clarity moving forward.
  9. In terms of enthusiasm at this exact juncture it's a 5 only because regular season football is back and we are 0-0 and there is the development of some key young players that I am very interested in seeing in regular season action. That brief high will probably be knocked down to 1 by October though.
  10. I think the preseason performance has caused a "Meh" Cloud to hover over the fan base. I still have some interest and while I don't expect a lot of wins, I think there are other things I would like to see in terms of the team at least going in the right direction. On offense is Bryce the guy and is XL moving forward? Is the defense performing better with DB back Are the rookies and 2nd year players developing? That said, for me there is some intrigue but I don't think they will compete for a playoff spot.
  11. Well just a few years ago they went to the playoffs and won a playoff game with Daniel Jones at QB. And while the Giants have been up and down at best since their last Super Bowl they have shown to be a more competent organization. While the Panthers haven't so much as sniffed the playoffs in nearly a decade. Logic would dictate that the Giants strategy has a high probability to be at least modestly successful. The Panthers? Eh.
  12. The panthers didn’t just go vanilla in preseason…they’ve been doing it for a decade as to not tip our hand. The jags are in for a rude awakening! lol
  13. I'm not seeing much change and that makes me feel less enthusiastic than last season. I hope what we've been seeing is a big deception.
  14. I am a little bit more positive. I thought we had a better free agency and draft than in 2024. Still expect this to the 2nd worst roster in Panthers history but it's better than 2024, so it is technically an improvement.
  15. I’m equally horrified as last year at this time.
  16. We really have shot ourselves in the foot repeatedly at kicker over the past few years it seems like. I don't care which option we choose, just as long as they don't turn out to be hammered dogshit. That's my big fear. But, as I stated a few weeks ago, if we are losing games solely because of a FG kicker, I will be pretty pumped about how the season went.
  17. Seriously though, I was thinking that it's like throwing poo against the wall. We just don't know. We're so unlucky that we could give Fitz his shot like Bear Hands wants and Sauls goes on to be the next Chris Boswell while Fitz becomes the next in a line of misses. I was just thinking that (or maybe the other way around). *Sigh*
  18. Bonus: How does this compare to last offseason heading into Game 1?
  19. I don't know personally which guy would be right for us moving forward, but I do have faith that we will evaluate that situation thoroughly, come to a consensus and make the wrong decision.
  20. Fits hasn’t missed in a game yet, just keep it going with the guy. Absolutely no harm in continuing to see what he’s got. We’re not winning the SB (obviously)
  21. I know Kelvin Benjamin had a great rookie year but I just get the feeling we are going to need a bigger safety net this coming season outside Cotchery. You guys are talking up Brown but this dude is a JAG, I am telling you. Anyway, although everyone is talking up Cooper as this generational WR, I have my eye on Lockett(Kansas St.) and Diggs(Maryland) as some impact guys that could go later. I just have a feeling. Also could potentially look at OT. Chandler and Bell are just not it. I would say maybe take a look at Donovan Smith(Penn St.). Could be a solid LT for years to come.
  22. Today
  23. Also, the fact we are comparing this one to the 10 preseason tells me we are in for another horrible year.
