  1. Past hour
  2. It isn't that far off. He only has 1 game this season with more than 200 passing yards, and in that one game, a lot of it came when the game was out of hand. Among qualified passers, he is 33 out of 34 QBs in Y/A. I think it is fair to say that generally speaking, his ceiling is about 150-170 passing yards. Yeah there will be aberrations but considering he's averaging 176 YPG after 38 games, how can you argue his ceiling is anything else? Only 12 times in 38 games has he cleared 200+. Cam Ward already has 5 such games this year (9 games played). Darnold had 15 in his first 2 years. Not that yards are the be all, end all. But hard to argue his ceiling (on average) is anything else.
  3. Yeah, even on that one twitter video bragging about Bryce tricking them into thinking it was a pass play on 2nd and long on that final drive, Micah Parsons was straight up saying they were playing pass all the way because in the NFL that's a passing down all the way in that situation. They didn't think there was anyway the Panthers were running the football there. Bryce didn't trick anyone. We just did the unthinkable because the unthinkable was a better option than Bryce throwing the football.
  4. Nowhere in the league is a winning formula for the RB and the QB to have matching yardage rushing vs passing. Have you ever heard of multiple 2k yard rushers across the league? How about a 3k, 4k, or 5k yard rusher? Nope? Because they don't exist. Running Rico into the ground is not an effective offensive game plan for the rest of the season. Relying on a running back to carry your team instead of your QB is not long term winning strategy.
  5. Yeah he's the reason we weren't up by td's at that point lol, DC having to get creative just to get into field goal range and then immediately trusted his rookie kicker. to kick a 48 yarder in the wind rather then let Bryce try and complete a couple 5 yard play action passes to get in better position when Green Bay had their whole fuging team in the box to stop Dowdle lol. Twice in a row. If it was already under 40 I'd get just running to set up the hashes but jeez..
  6. JMO, I think it is lame as hell to publicly give up on the team and then crawl back when they win a few games. Like, how can you run a PANTHERS PODCAST and then give up on it during the season? Yes, you can argue the Panthers prior to Week 3 hadn't done anything to deserve fanfare, but nobody made them run a Panthers Podcast. They chose to. So stick with it. Instead they gave up and did so publicly. Which is well within their right - but you can't then turn around and bring it back the same season.
  7. The crazy thing about football is it’s a team sport. But one position can make or break the game. And one of the best ways in doing that is by not giving the ball away and being able to run at 4-5 yard clips. Throw in a couple passes and next thing you know you’re in the red zone. Playing this way limits possessions to other(more dynamic) QBs too. And if your defense plays well that could equate to between 4 and six series. If you’re running that efficient, you can say, split the offensive production with the run or the pass. So by attempt byce accounted for his half of the yardage and Rico did too. Rico also managed to punch it in at the goal line. And you gotta give it to our oline and they’re running blocking and that’s without TMO! so the truth is, Canales and management figured out how to use Bryce’s strengths to compliment this run game to cover up his weaknesses in a way that is efficient. And our defense showed improvement against pretty formidable opponent the week after andy dalton gave it to buffalo. They are putting winning football on the field more often, and we are slowly becoming better each week. I hope they can keep it up.
  8. If only the Eagles collapse. I dont think it will happen though. I hate them as much. Ill root for the Chiefs if they play the Eagles this time around in the Superbowl. I hate those guys.
  9. 102 yards. 0 TDs. An INT. A fumble. His biggest plays are negative plays. Getting your ass carried while being a burden isn't "contributing".
  10. Yeah like I said. Your ball knowledge is bad. You think it’s best to try and clown on one of our guys? If you wanna go play with your lil cheese packer-fan you can. I don’t feel bad for him man. As a fan he has nothing to complain about in comparison. His franchise is where the NFL was born, who the trophy is named after. I can appreciate his loyalty though. Btw how many plays did Parsons make in comparison? Or did Rico run all over them too? sorry just a whole lot more nuance than just saying some dumb about our rookie DE who is playing well. So is Princely. Also new signing Gipsen. Rozeboom recently and others in being better in run D. your point about Jacob’s, is just that…Jacob’s doing. Your hyper fixation on my remarks about him being a good run DE, doesn’t change that fact. Scourton also needed more on the pass rushing downs. But I could go on and on. the real question that needs to be fixed though is why as a fan do you feel the need to bash one of our own, and talk through another person to try and do it to someone else? Are you even a panthers fan?
  11. Whew. Okay, now I can enjoy the sad faces of Cowboys fans.
  12. Burrow or Bryce? Seriously? 32 out of 32 NFL coaches are taking Burrow. Remember we paid 100m to put Bryce behind a good offensive line. Just because Cincy isn’t managed well doesn’t mean anyone in their right mind is taking Bryce and his 3 years of mediocrity over Burrow’s elite level ability.
  13. If we replace Bryce is gonna be with a veteran like Geno Smith. And if we don’t fix the pass protection the offense will continue to struggle
  14. Yea his off platform and ability to make plays like he did in college just hasn't translated. He was never going to be a prototypical drop back passer. He has to make a living going outside the structure of the play call and he hasn't been able to do that anywhere near a consistent basis. However he did make some plays yesterday when he needed to. Not that we couldn't have gotten that from anyone else but I've definitely seen plenty of good QBs come up short in those situations.
  15. Today
  16. Looks to me like they are trying to give it away.
  17. Do not underestimate the Cardinals ability to give away games this season.
  18. I have never advocated for giving Bryce the 5th year. I think we should look elsewhere in the offseason. I'm just not capitulating to the blind hate.
  19. You could go root for a team you actually like instead of using the board as a weekly complaint session. Dont like the team go find one you like. We are tired of your negativity
  20. Please don't choke this away somehow, Cardinals. I want to enjoy the Cowboys being blown out.
