Raiola is awful, Oregon will take a massive step back next year. I think they'll be 7-5 at best with him at QB. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets beat out in Spring by one of their recruits. I don't think he's even draftable, but someone will take a 5th to 7th round flyer on him. Sayin is basically Brock Purdy stature and talent wise, but no clue if his between the ears game matches Purdy's. If not, he is basically Tua Tagovailoa. Arch Manning would be the consensus #1 overall pick in this year's draft if he was declaring, and he'll be the consensus #1 overall pick in whatever year he comes out in. Had an absolute dogshit year based on his hype. But his size, tools, and pedigree will translate. This coming from a guy who hates the Longhorns with all I have.

Only adds credence to my belief that the moment you pay any QB the big bucks, you have maybe one or two more years of a real shot at a SB before that window all but closes. The QB and the coach can only do so much to overcome the reality that a QB eats up too much cap space and you can't keep great talent around them. You have to replace them via the draft and if you don't nail that, you're screwed.

(Shoutout to Papa Martinook da GOAT) As far as Shane, dude is puffy and bleary-eyed damn near every broadcast. I recall a time when B.B was the guy every body here wanted for GM. Thank God he walked and went to the Bills. He hasn't done well from what I understand. Missed on many draft picks and let the receiving corps get very thin. Very big ego and now he is running the whole show. I'll take Morgan. He has had some misses, but some really good picks and he seems to know what we need on both sides of the ball. I think he has learned from his mistakes and will do the work. Bills fans are pretty pissed off and wanted Beane gone instead. S.M is a good coach and picked them up when they where the dregs of the conference. They will regret the move.
