  1. Past hour
  2. That allar or the ark kid. I really like allar as he navigates the pocket nicely and i am an old school pocket passer kindof guy. I know its not en vogue especially after last night but running qbs I went sour on after seeing cam just take some monster shots
  3. He tries to make the throw but his feet are planted the wrong direction, doesn't have the separation with his feet, and his body doesn't follow through on the throw because of his feet placement which causes the ball to sail on him. If it doesn't sail, it hits Sanders in stride
  4. Trying to continue to be positive about Bryce is like trying to be positive about the prospect of getting your girl back when she's moved on and is dating a rich dude with a knee knocker. It's over so get over it.
  5. He mainly screwed up when he threw it past the line of scrimmage, so I think we will see less of that next week.
  6. I didnt see much of any college ball on Sat but I do know there are so good prospects. I just normally listen to mcshay to see who they are and then try to catch the games. But he loves mateer, the ark dude, sellers, lsu kid and cade K.
  7. It's the only thing that makes sense.
  8. I may be completely off base, but he reminds me a lot of Baker beyond just the Oklahoma connection. Roughly the same size, little bit of the same recklessness. Don't think he's a perfect prospect by any means, and frankly he's another undersized guy who's mechanics can get funky. I could see Canales wanting him for obvious reasons, but I could see us being scared of a "little" guy again and going after a brick shithouse of a QB.
  9. Bryce gives it a look but Sanders is draped when he see's him and he saw color with that big DL in front of him. Honestly I'd this is an instance where his small size screws him over since he can't stand tall and try to throw a strike into a tight window.
  10. Oh god, I'd be done for sure. I couldn't stand another 3-4 years of Bryce being awful for half a season and decent the other half while the Panthers always pick top 10 and ignore QB.
  11. I think him playing for Bama had a lot to do with it.
  12. He looks pretty legit. Was the top transfer QB in the portal and is living up to the hype so far. I want to see more out of this Arkansas QB too.
  13. I think Morgan is good. I think Canales can be good, but he's going to have to learn/make changes. Bryce, who knows. We need to see if he's starting slow because of the weak offseason (see Burrow and the Bengals) or if he's too inconsistent for the long term. Canales needs to be playing him and the rest of the starters one quarter in game 1, half the game in game 2, and one quarter again in game 3. I also think he needs to get rid of Evero and his staff yesterday. This is a guy who was supposedly HC-bound and he can't patch together a serviceable unit in 3 years. Canales needs his own DC. We can look like the Texans with Stroud doing nothing with an elite D keeping it close and no one will be on the hot seat... if Canales wants to keep his job Evero will be gone before the end of the season if we don't turn it around.
  14. So to you, a player needs to break records to show that he's a true elite prospect? Complete nonsense And FYI... yes, he's 100% on pace to break the Panthers rookie receiving record, after a game where our QB looked like he'd get cut from your average HS squad. KB has the record with 1,008 yards and T-Mac is currently on pace for about 1,150 on the season, so............
  15. He has early season Bryce Young throwing him the ball and he's a rookie.
  16. He's had one real pro game. I don't know about you, but I saw enough raw talent yesterday to convince me he's a stud at the NFL level, as long as he continues to work on his game. I'm sold.
  17. 100% on that second part. If Fisch and co. stick around for one more year, last year isn't the dumpster fire it is and he puts up a season that ends up getting him into the Top 5. I wanted defense in a vacuum as well, because we needed it, but the reality is that there just wasn't any defensive player there at 8 that made any sense to take over him. Carter would have made sense, but I'm still not even sure Graham would have since we already have DB, it was a bad draft to need defense in the Top 10. Once it was clear there wasn't a worthy defensive candidate for us outside of Carter, and that he'd never have fallen to us, clearly it was an easy call to me. Bear Down!
  18. Where does all the love for Tet come from? He's been okay so far. Of course, that stands out when the rest of the team is this bad, but really. He's not breaking any records around here, rookie or otherwise at this point.
  19. Here it is. https://x.com/jasrifootball/status/1965104365515276647?t=RRSv3g59PS7CMSZqCK_UbA&s=19
  20. Arizona grad here. Wanted us go defense in round 1 but couldnt complain with the pick. We saw what we saw in college and he has legitimate hall of famer talent. If we werent victims of Saban retiring and kept the momentum we had going last year he probably wouldnt have fallen to us
  21. And honestly, Burns was all hype and little production. Folks loved him because of the Spider-man celebration. He was lousy in run containment and only could generate pressure in one-on-one situations with bottom half of league level OTs. Ask the Giants how good he is... they'll only tell you the truth if they aren't trying to trade him.
  22. Oh that was definitely it, I've always just loved watching him make those kind of catches, his ability to reach out and pluck the ball out of the air with late hands is next level kind of stuff and why I've never been concerned when people bring up the "he can't separate" thing. No, he's not a true elite separator like some of these 6'ish quick twitch WRs like Chase, JJ, Nabers, etc. But he brings other elements to the game that even those guys just can't do, because he just has size that can't be taught and combined with his hands/radius, with good QB play, also can't be stopped by any DB.
  23. https://x.com/jasrifootball/status/1965104365515276647?s=46 Saunders still gets wide open in front off Bryce for an easy throw and is staring BY down…..Bryce just gave up looking for a throw and had committed to just sailing into out of bounds by that point though (and Bryce no longer looking to make a real play). which I suspect is what Dave likely could of said to him that caused that helmet smash. Good QBs find those throws when things aren't perfectly executed. That certainly what he is supposed to be for us right now. But it's still just all the WRs fault for the 3rd year in a row. Or coaches. Or OLs.
