There was plenty of open field in front of him this week. When there's traffic in his face again he'll almost certainly revert back to typical Bryce.

Honestly I think Etienne is going to be our future Rb. Hes good at everything and has little wear and tear. Brooks is not only basically a rookie but also hasn’t played in 2 years which requires him to get into shape. I think there’s hope for him but the odds are low.

And some might say that because it invites misapplication, it is flawed. that is me and we will disagree on this one.

I agree, honestly you can not trade a player that has Balls talent. Just sitting in street clothes FOR years, it doesn't matter if you are averaging 50points on 88% with 18 rebs, 15 asst, 4 stls if you never can play. These are the worst type of players, teasers. Its HIS JOB to get his body in NBA shape and he has proven that he can not. Thus you break the rule about trading top shelf talent. Hell NBA need to have NFL contracts where the full sum isn't guaranteed, you bet your ass if his money was tied to his playing on the court he'd somehow figure out how to stay healthy. Plus Im a old head, I member when Seth Curry in his 17(Jesus..) year career had ankle problems and guess what, he solved the issues and got all the money, championships, and fame. Ball doesn't have the same drive to figure out his body, he'd rather drive his car on kids feet while rushing home to drive his go-cart on the roof of his condo after missing his 42nd game of the season.....

There isn't anything wrong with the stat itself. The fault is people's interpretations and how they use them.

I truly do not understand why we rushed him back last season, we were a bad team with an already productive back in Chuba. Brooks looked like he was 60% back and clearly hadn’t regained full movement in his knee and confidence, no surprise he got reinjured. Shame on this training staff, look no further then Chuba returning too soon this season, I don’t care how bad a player wants to come back a training staff is there to protect them. Brooks is a great person and was an amazing player prior to both injuries, I hope he’s recovering well.

I've heard from smart people in and around Panthers, Smitty needed Angie for guidance BADLY. I've honestly thought if Smitty was born 20 years later, he should have taken a MMA path and not only would he have been a champion but a humbled good man with or without Angie helping him. Completely agreed. TBH, we have had so many great players that are in my favorite list, and I hate to narrow it down to one, but Cam is it. Which is crazy, because you would think it would be more of the guys I grew up watching, but no. Cam was the single most impactful player to ever out on a football uniform imo. And like I said in an earlier post, I always felt a kinship with him in a lot of ways… the way he was treated and judged for the off the field stuff in Florida and having to overcome all of that and fight show at back. And although I am not a black man, I have always been welcomed by and accepted more by minorities, and thus, I know what it’s like to be judged by appearances rather than the content of your character and who you actually are. I know what it’s like to be stereotyped and written off or mistreated for your mistakes. I know what it’s like to be held to a different standard while your peers don’t have to meet that same standard. So I always related to that. And the way he came in and just electrified the whole franchise, man… I still think about it often how much it sucks that because of how talented he was, our staff out so much on him and that ultimately cut his career short. You’re right, there will never be another Cam… I think Josh Allen is the closest thing we will see for a long time, but Allen is not the running threat Cam was. Cam could run you over or around you. That was THE absolute funnest time to watch our team ever.

The weirdest encounter I had with a pro athlete was waiting in line at security at Mile High Stadium when I used to get the company suite tickets almost every week because I was the only employee based in Colorado. There's a small checkpoint accessing the suites that virtually no one knows about that you can usually squirt right through. I was standing there and looked over my shoulder and there stands John fuging Elway waiting in line behind me. This was during the The Golden Calf of Bristol season right before he became GM. I just said "They make YOU go through security?" He's like "Yeah, ain't that a bitch. I literally have a statue out front and I gotta go through security like everybody else." I've heard mixed things about him but he was super nice and down to earth with me that day.

He isn't trainwreck Bryce vs Atlanta. Pretty sure he had a rushing TD though.

We have to stop with the "he only plays well against ATL" narrative. Two months ago he went 16-24 for 121 yards and no TDs against them.

I was going to post a thread about this game is the first one in which Hubbard look "fresher' than Rico. I think Rico is also playing with about 7 issues on/in his body. Simply need 2 RB that can be lead dawgs in this NFL, that's part of the reason for the low market...

He was so much fun to watch as a player but is a prototypical example of the old "never meet your heroes" adage. Great player, not a great guy.

The way they are handling now is how they should have handled it from the start instead of that you get a series, you a get a series. Let Chuba spell until he had some of his step back. We definitely could have put a better showing against Buffalo and their weak run defense had we employed the same game plan we did against Green Bay. Saints were determined to stop the run and make Bryce beat them, Atlanta had similar plan and the coaches and Bryce were able to respond. Rico although didnt have the best rushing game was vital in the passing game and his catch and run help get us into the redzone there at the end of regulation probably should have been a touchdown that out of bounds was a judgement call it wasn't conclusive and thus should have went with the original call on the field. Roco brings that dawg to the offense that it shorely lacked up until Miami game. Interesting it was his call that help seal the win for us, glad the coaches were listening. Hope they can get a deal done and run it back next year.
