Adam Schefter: Panthers getting trade calls for Andy Dalton
MHS831 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
This has to be the year--and I think there are some good QBs whose stock price is beaten down in the draft--I am guessing there is one they like on day 3. But this pamper Bryce mentality has to end before he gets a big deal--take off the training wheels and have a Plan B. -
He had an Achilles injury in 2024. Smart player. Good pass protector. had a down year in 2025. Has never played between two guards like Lewis and Hunt--should cost under $8m. At 28, he has 5 years left. I am not against it if we can get him for about $5m per.

Also, I think I have figured out how to make soccer way less boring. All the leagues should move to a points per goal differential per game model. You win by 1, you get one point, you win by two, you get two points, etc etc. After watching how teams who are down significantly in aggregate attack the game and open it up, it's such a better product for the fan / viewer. I think you could get the same sort of play if you had teams, especially towards the end of the season who were chasing points (instead of aggregate goals) trying to run up the score to stay ahead or catch up to other teams in the table. Soccer in generally is brutally painful to watch, although it is the easiest sport to bet. They need to do something to make it more offensively forward. I know it will never happen, but literally every time I watch one of this cross league tournament games on aggregates, it's always 10x as exciting and fast paced as traditional league game.

You maybe on to something. The recent hire of Darrell bevell may have suggested it after his viewing of the season. I do think brad should have a understanding of BY and what to call. I also think huddle, x, plebitt, bragbook panther fans started to ask loudly "What does Brad do?!?!?". I also think Dave is trying to save himself if BY fails....

I hit a +425 Overtime bet in the Juventus game.

Best I know he's a ILB that's in the 2-3 range. Leader etc etc all the buzz words about ILB. I did see some early 1st talk, but that has cooled. -
Mike Kaye: LB Devin Lloyd could be a realistic possibility

honestly since Brandt Tillis got here, they have not done much restructuring outside a couple lower paid players. Brandt said he learnt how the NFL views contracts by working at the NFL. I've always maintained restructuring is fine, so long your have a winning team/great QB/great ______ . Then it makes sense, not with a 5 max winner like Panthers were for years. You got to win or have a highly talented group that odds are they will make noise in the playoffs. -
Canales handing over playcalling duties
NorthTryon replied to therealmjl's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is my take. Everyone dumps on Canales' playcalling, but when you watch the All22 you see players running wide open and there are plays that the QB isn't or can't make. People can't be that obtuse to think that we are running crowded route trees within twenty five yards because Canales has no imagination. Right? Idzik has looked less than mediocre in preseason action at the helm, but he hasn't had anything to work with at QB outside a few drives with Bryce. Dalton is cooked and Jack whatever his name was didn't give us anything worth a d*mn. Bevell was a good addition and fingers crossed this is successful. -

Dan and Dave have been saying over and over; "we want a competitive team". It is past time for the QB "leader" to do what everyone else is doing. I think, I mean if its me....Im not counting on BY to save my job. This coming year is one of those fork path super different deals for not only the team but many Panthers, coaches, and staff. If BY isn't "him", and Panthers win 3 games..... whole new everything minus owner is incoming. About the only safe player would be dbrown and maybe tmac... -
interesting point. going to think about it because I have not up to this point.

Lloyd Cushenberry FACenter#79 Titans released C Lloyd Cushenberry. Cushenberry was one of several marquee signings by the Titans from the 2024 offseason. He landed a four-year, $50 million deal after playing out his rookie deal with the Broncos. Much like most of their other moves from that spending spree, this one failed to pay off. Cushenberry was graded as a bottom-five center by Pro Football Focus in both of his seasons in Tennessee. He should still be able to land a starting job, though his next team will be paying him far less than the Titans did.

I think Dan realizes we no longer need an older brother--we need a competitor. - Today

Alot of talk about Jacob Rodriguez being linked to the Panthers. This guy wasn't on my radar, need to take a look at him

Like everybody else who watched the playoffs, I think Bain is a beast. He was just about unstoppable. But I didn't watch Miami much throughout the season. Just going off of stats he was somewhat quiet, just two sacks in the first eight games. I'm sure he had an impact in other ways, but did he just turn it on in the big games late in the season?

I wouldn't be mad it... But I think we can find Edge help in free agency. The OT position is gonna be hard to find free agency this year, for that reason, I think we need to look at Proctor or maybe Lomu in the 1st. Now if we get lucky and Styles or even Lemon fall to us, I think we flip a coin and run to the podium! -
I donβt like seeing that either. The automatic jumping, whether you need to or not. That was maybe the first thing I noticed with him.

Took my cash out. Had it at 5x messed around and waited till 2x missed it by 2 shots on goal

That's what happens when you jump to catch a ball that's waist height.
