Well if Dalton goes down he's gonna play so I'm glad they upgraded from Plumber, and it's not impossible and it's happened before when a lesser known backup comes into a game after injury and steals the job. Just saying anything can happen, he stole Zach Wilsons job lol.

Speaking of revisiting trades: Brian Burns

Bingo. Burns is very good, no question, but he is a complimentary piece. -
Same asshole that told Mike White he sucked after playing with 5 broken ribs. Not gonna get to it on here but one browse through his wikipedia page yikes lol. Horrible guy

I don't think it's down. We are largely just laughing, rightfully so, at anyone thinking this is more than a PS move or emergency backup.

This is just mind blowing to me. I would believe you if you told me Fitterer was intentionally sabotaging the team. It is completely unacceptable, unbelievable, and unforgivable. -
I also think Justin Fields sucks. A lot. But if he was my employee there is not chance I am trashing him in front of the media for just not being good. I am gonna be lighting up the MFer who decided that was a good personnel decision. IN PRIVATE.

There's gonna be a mutiny on the bounty up there. What a fuggin idiot.

I’ve heard that Vegas looks at only 3 things when predicting games and setting the line 1. HC 2 Qb 3. Injuries If that flash card is true, then it is the Bills to win Add to it, , the Bills have lost 2 in a row and coming off a bye They cannot afford to allow the Patriots to hang around by getting a 3rd loss. That does not bode well for Carolina to me though 1. it is all on the Panthers oline. If Lewis returns at full strength, and perform at a high level, huge. 2 the defense needs to pressure and spy on Allen. Stop Allen and you stop the Bills He is their biggest threat he will make plays but make him pay for every single one 3. Canales, lord have mercy, for the love of god, don’t overthink this…start Rico, run Rico and no trick plays… START RICO. RUN THE BALL WITH RICO. RUN THE BALL WITH RICO Control, the clock Keep Allen on the bench IF YOU ARE GOING To PASS, PLAY ACTION ON FIRST DOWN If 1 thru 3 happen Panthers 30. Bills 28 and joy reigns in the Queen City

To be fair we don't know how Mccaffrey would have looked had he been drafted by the Saints with Sean Peyton and Drew Brees Nor how Kamara would have looked with Mike Shula.
-
Not sure why everyone is down on the guy, he's 5x better than Plumber and in equal situations can throw a better ball than Bryce or Dalton
-
Someone was bitching about him in the other games thread lol. I was like really? He's averaging 13 yards a catch and half of those are behind the line of scrimmage. He obviously adds a dimension to the offense that has been missing since like Ted Ginn
-
He's on his 4th team in 4 years. Ultimately he was available for a reason. Our FO had the opportunity to not back themselves into this corner. But the onus is now on Canales. I sure hope he's up to it.

Speed kills. That's what Detroit has going on with their offense. Jimmy Horn Jr provides that type of speed for the Panthers we need that element in the gameplan.

Well hold on let's pause for a second and establish some things first since we're on the subject of "cop outs with no room for nuance". Our own QB has 37 games under his belt. Many of them are either subpar or just plain bad. We only just this past Sunday won our 2nd road game in his career. But months and months of contentious discussion since his rookie season has largely resulted in the oft used argument that Bryce Young's struggles were due to the coaching and players around him and ultimately he couldn't be blamed. But now apparently it seems like you folks have fully tossed that out and are actively blaming Stroud while wholly omitting contributing circumstances around him. So which is one it????? As far as Brees. Look I've got to be direct here. I cannot stand that guy. But I would have to concede that he had a significantly better arm than Bryce Young. I mean it's not even close. Plus as much as it annoys me to say it's clear Drew Brees wasn't afraid to hit the weight room either. And Baker has obviously always had arm talent that showed on the tape even when he was struggling or being a tool. Acknowledging all of this is the first step in gaining a firm footing in reality with the rest of us.

I know one thing. I would have Horn active this week. If he gets behind the defense Andy will get that ball down there.
-
I think if we were 2-5 right now and finished 6-11 then that would be more understandable. But at this point.. 4-3 entering week 8. They have to at least finish 7-10 or it’s going to look like they fell apart. Finishing 7-10 still means we go 3-7 down the stretch.

Good decisions, IMO.

I don’t get the CJ did bad so Bryce now looks better logic. I hated the trade up to start with. Would not have done it for either of them But once it was done CJ was the better NFL prospect to me. I would bet on him again if those were the two choices Him failing doesn’t mean anything one way or the other in relation to Bryce.
-
Because its a cop out with no room for nuance at all. It ignores every other similarity and just size to talk about size. Brees had worst year 3 stats than Bryce and by this forums take on the subject that should have been the end of his career. If you mention Brees its "he doesn't count because he is a HoF" if you mention Baker its "he's taller than Bryce" despite literally having way more batted balls. Now we have Stroud trending down where does his size play into that?
-
How is it not relevant? His physical talent allows him to make high level throws in just about any circumstance. On the run. Off platform. Off his backfoot. His problem was always the mental aspect. It's always going to be easier for a guy like that to dig himself back into starting jobs than someone who does not have that advantage built in.
