ESPN's All Quarter Century Team 2000-2025

Our day 2 track record over the past 3 decades has been abysmal. We've had a couple of hits, but there has been far more head scratching than a bad case of head lice. - Today

Also nabbed a wild trade price for a RB. People were upset but that was far more than he was worth. Now, if you want to talk about how terribly we squandered those resources....that is unquestionably true. -
I usually drive 8-10 over as well, if I'm going faster than the lane behind me and an asshole comes up behind me on my ass and I'm already going well over the speed limit, they will have to wait till I can safely get over. What they want is for you to go faster which is being an asshole
-
I usually drive 5-8 miles above speed limit but do sometimes go with traffic which can be 10-15 over on highway. Shoo, I drive behind local cops who go 10-15 over speed limit. I never drive above 5mph in school zone. Most cops do not care if you go 5-8 miles above speed limit unless school zone. If you drive speed limit, create bottleneck and do not yield, you are an ass.

Just common courtesy in my book.

Honestly they won’t have to play with him much he only suits up for 10-20 games a year
-
It's these same type of "there's no law on the book to force me to be a decent person with some consideration for others so I'll drive like a selfish prick" people who are the first people to cry "road rage" when someone blows by them and offers them a one fingered salute. LOL

I've also seen agents saying certain players don't want to come to / be drafted by Charlotte as they don't want to play with Ball. -
If there is 1 thing this team has shown it is more than capable of, it is heart-breaking disappointment. I wait until there are some preseason games before I get too optimistic, because I cannot think of a time when we looked bad in preseason and it didn't directly translate to the regular season. There has never been a switch this team could throw and turn it on, even in the good years. Regarding the Atlanta game, I am hesitant to make much of it. Don't get me wrong..wins are nice, and wins against hated rivals are even nicer. On its own though, it might just be that, and not a trend.

Oddly enough, the Panthers did the right thing trading CMC. He was going to command a huge contract as a home grown, fan favorite and great player when healthy. -
Front row tickets to the Cardinals game secured. Took a break for a couple years but this will be stadium 15 for me so I'm halfway through visiting every stadium.

Yeah, I feel like that is even a stretch. I say this as a guy who argued vehemently against signing him to a big extension like we did. CMC is a great player and good person. I just believe the modern NFL is clearly anti-RB spending. We see outliers like Barkely that people like to quote but that is not reflective of the entire NFL's opinion on RB's. - Yesterday

I was at that game. Man, what a time to be a panthers fan!

Don’t be upset if you get smoked and cut. Left lane is a passing lane… if I go 80 on 70 and someone rolls behind me, I yield. End of story. If not, you get smoked. These folks who barely crawl on left lane and when you try to pass em, they gun it.

Yeah, seeing a ton of talk that we’re listening to offers for him. Going back to LJ, Mourning, Kobe, Eddie Jones, Baron, and now Lamelo. It always follows the same playbook. Media hypes and pumps “potential blockbuster” deals with our star player to the big markets/media darling teams. the smoke machine keeps churning. Then it’s rumored we are entertaining said offers (even if there was never talks or substance to the rumors). Then finally, we make a shitty deal that realistically only benefits the big market/media darling, get poo on, then languish in continued mediocrity with the added insult of having no star player whatsoever. Wash, rinse, repeat.

Lamelo Ball come on down, Boston Celtics on line 4. -
That is Marvin McNutt
-
Not a stretch because the league actually does use us to facilitate players to bigger markets. We’re the “just happy to be here” franchise.
-
Yep, this checks out. Very on brand with how you've come across online.

Yeah if Im running 70 in a 65 and your in my backseat Im locking my cruise control there and if you dont get the message Ill drop to the posted speed limit. Im at or in excess of the posted speed and have no obligation to yield the lane.

I love Chubba. Been a fan since I heard about his story when he was at Ok St. and no doubt his production and progression is impressive, but this is my one nitpick - he was always touted for his speed, having come from a track background, so I am honestly surprised he doesn’t have more breakaway runs for TDs than what he has achieved thus far. But to be fair, it often feels like he is constantly having to break tackles, so when he breaks the last one where it would just be nothing between him and the end zone, that usually took long enough that a defender from the opposite side of the field got an angle to catch up. I really hope with the receiver additions, Bryce moving forward with confidence and proving that ending stretch last season wasn’t an aberration, and another year of synergy for the OL, Chubba is gonna have some wide open running this season. He is definitely special. Proud of him and happy he is getting rewarded for all his hard work…

Didn't i say passing other cars?

If you're in the left lane, look to the right. Is there someone beside you? Are you soon overtaking someone in the right lane immediately ahead of you? No and no? Then get the fug over. That's how it's supposed to work. Doesn't matter if you're going 100.
