  1. Past hour
  2. he didn't have theilen and it showed. sorry. where tf was david moore?
  3. we've had now three coaches in Tepper. Can someone tell me why the play selection on offense looks the same? Why he wanted to force a 3-4? I think he's Al Davis-ing and calling down on the bat phone.
  4. No one. Why do you think that is? Because they love Bryce Young's media presence, or because they realize the TEAM is an absolute shiite show that very few QBs could have success in? Knowing what you know about Tepper, which do you think is the reason? Don't try to overthink it. It's the obvious answer. These receivers aren't good - yet. Did you watch last night's game? How do you think our receivers stack up to GB and WAS receivers? Hot take... Renfrow should have caught the pass he took a shot on. Sanders caught the exact same pass running the exact same route with the exact same hit later in the game. There was another pass down the sideline that Renfrow should have caught and got his feet inbounds. The pass that was thrown short was a bad throw by Bryce. He flat out missed that throw. No argument there - and a great play call/design by Canales. But a better receiver either catches the ball or draws a PI with the defender's back towards the ball. The defender never saw the ball. He 100% played the receiver. Bryce isn't exactly killing it, but his receivers aren't doing him any favors either. Their job is to make QBs right, not the other way around. Any Joe SHOULD be able to go out there and catch perfect passes in perfect calls where they're wide open. That doesn't make you an NFL wide receiver.
  5. Hunt and Lewis on the report two weeks in a row to start the season. You can guarantee they will miss time at some point
  6. You all over the map. First you scoff at seam routes being hospital balls…despite the fact those are always routes QB have to be worried about throwing their WR into a hit. now you are countering with the “you act like Renfrow is on IR” defense and the “but how did he keep playing after that” defense lol it’s a hospital. Simple. You even got NFL QBs explaining it to you in real time with the all22 and telling exactly where Bryce need to put the ball and when.
  7. Not disagreeing about needing a strong IOL, just our method of doing it. The 2nd and 3rd rounds are the optimal place to find guards and centers, and we've spent picks on TMJ, Mingo, DJ Johnson, Tremble, Brooks, and even an overweight Deonte Brown instead of Trey Smith in the 6th. We just do things the hard and expensive way and its so damn frustrating.
  8. No Friday update yet. You can always look here.... https://www.panthers.com/team/injury-report/
  9. You're acting like Bryce put him out for the game and the week when that play happened at 4:01 in Q2. Renfrow was targeted four more times after that. Plus, a hospital ball is a poorly placed pass that puts the receiver in a dangerous position to take a big hit by being late or inaccurate. Ball is out an on its way here. The catch is made at the 25yd line on the hash. Renfrow jumps for no reason and is airborne when he's hit. Bryce doesn't drift him over in front of the safety on the throw and as we can see from the capture that he had the right read. Could he have also waited a little longer for XL to pop up over the middle on the in route? You won't hear me disagree with that. Would have also likely netted more YAC than Renfrow would've considering positioning and momentum for both players. I like that option better than the one he took, but you're also not going to see me make 10 different threads about it like we've seen this week. Also worth noting that while Renfrow didn't need to jump for that ball that he did run a beautiful route to get open.
  10. This offense is like watching a slow bleed out when you think a merciful death has finally ended the suffering only to see a pinky flinch or hear a faint gasp of air creep from the lungs and through the dried out walls of a flaked throat, making you feel a sliver of hope and obligation to stay with the moribund patient on life support until it passes beyond the void and the undertaker begins his duties--usually around week 6.

  12. https://www.nbcsportsboston.com/nfl/new-england-patriots/dont-hold-your-breath-gronkowski-says-he-approaches-seam-routes-with-no-fear/381799/?amp=1 Yeah, here is Brady, Gronk and the prime Patriots discussing the dangers and risk TE/slots face with seam routes. you way too smart to be defending some of this bro How did Renfrow get the rib injury and why wasn’t that classified a drop. Go check the game day thread. Entire board could ID that obvious one in real time.
  13. Hospital balls are hospital balls. I mean, someone just posted a NFL QB (who is pro Bryce) breaking down that exact throw where Bryce threw him into the S hit. It was a hospital ball….and now Renfow got the rib injury to go along with it. the Bryce defending is just on a complete different planet at this point.
  14. Man that was a QUICK pivot from being a victim and complaining about alleged insults to calling people shitheads and bitchy and going on an awkward tangent about sexual tension. I'll let this just speak for itself and let the mods sort it out.
  15. The entire past couple seasons the entire mission has been to build up the O to the detriment of the defense. we also spent our last 3 first round picks on the offense and went out in FA to cement the leagues most expensive OL in the NFL No real point moaning about the D. They were designed to be weak while we built up a good O. Meanwhile the O has been at the league bottom the entire time. we have an offensive issue.
  16. Some fans are now calling seam routes hospital balls? Wild.
  17. Sheesh. I need to find me a good group to sit around the table with and roll dice. Anyone in Greensboro?
  18. Seemed like everything was going great for her up until then. I guess we never can know how things are offscreen, or how much stress there is from that much success. She certainly seemed to be an original character.
  19. Latest video I wrote is out. While I try to write with no bias, I have to say I am not 100% sure that the right guy was convicted. Let me know what you think.
  20. I quite literally have said multiple times this week that Bryce did not play well on Sunday. What in the world are you even talking about? Jesus Christ son, at least pretend to have a grip on reality rather than trying to constantly make yourself the victim. Hell, look at you now pretending to be victimized by poo emojis and the ignore function because of your views on the QB. I don't give a poo if you like Bryce Young and have had no issues interacting with other posters that are done with him. You, however, cannot have a difference of opinion without resorting to insults. Case in point, your very first response to me in this thread. That is what got you put on ignore and poo emoji'd: you acting like a shithead. We've had this back and forth multiple times now where you say I don't like you because you don't like Bryce, I clarify that I just don't like your engaging in bad faith and acting like a bitchy little teenager whenever your perspective is challenged. I thought that maybe, just maybe we could start the season off on the right foot and have an exchange of ideas without the weird sexual tension or whatever it is that has you all hot and bothered whenever you see my name. Clearly, I gave you too much credit. Back to the toilet you go.
  21. It's a QB driven league, which means that all of the parts surrounding the QB have to be in order. No OL? QB isn't going to have time to throw or be able to hand it off. No weapons? Won't matter how well they play, can't catch it for them. Bad coaching? They're not the ones designing and calling plays. Football is one of the ultimate team sports. All 11 players need to be in sync rather than one player being dominant (imo). Hell, even with Tom Brady, not a single one of his rings came without a top-10 defense on the other side of the ball or a top-10 OL in front of him. I can understand people having lost patience with Bryce, especially starting off on the wrong foot for the third season in a row. That's not an issue. The issue I have is with folks being intentionally misleading and attempting to tell other posters what they're not allowed to talk about. Considering how often Red has claimed others have done this to him it is interesting at best, disingenuous at worst for him to turn around and do the same.
  22. Sir. You have been shouting down any and all valid skepticism and criticism of our #1 overall pick for 2+ years running. You spent all last spring running cover for him and complaining about derails and toxicity only for us to open the season with back to back blowout losses largely contributed by Bryce Young's abysmal play. You have engaged in the exact same formula this spring. You've spent the last two months rage pooing my posts like an angry ten year old even while you've had me on ignore just for speaking the truth about this QB room and our offense. We opened the season with yet another blowout loss this time to a previously 4 win team. And here you are still trying to play the victim while weaponizing the reactions. Any suggestion of you being victimized by anyone else here is a complete and utter farce. You know it. I know it. Have yourself a great day.
