  1. Past hour
  2. I think that one is on an old tablet, I'll have to see if I can track it down...
  3. If they are smart they would trade any and everything of value for pennies on the dollar to get draft capital and ensure a top 3 pick. Kamara has value, campbell, see if anyone bites on olave. Rip that bitch to the studs.
  4. The best thing about the pick is he's only 20 and he already checks many of the boxes. He also has the right mentality his personality is a very welcome addition for this team culture. Just have to give him time.
  5. Don’t you have Scarface style pic with rod and boat load of cocaine?
  6. If you watch anyone who's great at doing anything, they make it look effortless. Matt Corral looked like he was swimming upstream every time he was on the football field to me.
  7. Saints would have been wise to skip QB this year anyway, get some good players in preparation for the qb they will take in the 1st next year. OT was the perfect pick for this scenario, and they have a good chance at picking 3rd or 4th next year.
  8. The ironic thing is if we had to go QB with that pick we would have been better off just drafting Howell like a number of people were clamoring for. He didn't have the personal baggage that Corral brought along. I empathize with Matt I was hoping he would overcome those struggles. He did not. But in fairness to him I think there was a disconnect between Rhule and the front office at that point where Matt Rhule was just being a bitch and basically did what John Fox did with Jimmy Clausen and fed Corral to the wolves because he wanted no part of a rookie QB. In that regard Corral was setup to fail from the jump. I mean there's no other way to look at it with how Rhule let Ron Rivera's team tee off on Corral behind that 3rd and 4th string OL in the preseason. That's a coach who never wanted that player.
  9. didn't read the thread before I posted but you nailed it
  10. If Scourton stays at purdue he's a first round pick
  11. We also signed a guy who made 135 tackles last year in 11 starts during free agency. Yes, it was a career year for the guy who bounced around a lot, but you don't make 135 tackles in the NFL sitting on the bench. We might have more than we think.
  12. I certainly hope they're right. But I have little to no expectations right now. Anything will be a pleasant and welcome surprise.
  13. As far as RB i think most people were expecting us to draft a back in 2023 and were fine with that. But we didn't need to do that in the 2nd round to get an impact player at the position. Sure there are the McCaffrey's and the Barkley's but those are rare talents and even then selecting them with a high first is debatable for the team drafting them. The position is largely a mid round investment now. One could reasonably argue the FO is taking an unnecessary calculated risk with Center. They're going to have to invest a pick in the position next year. Idk what the class looks like but it's as close as you can get to an automatic need for investment regardless. It's overdue.
  14. Yep, Rod busted out his patented Blend-O-Matic and we scored 4 unanswered.
  15. Explain to me goalie interference one more time!
  16. Scott dumbass fitterer went on tv and said they had a first round grade on him and promptly put his ass at 4rth string. fuging clown show
  17. Similar logic was used to draft Matt Corral. He was their best QB in a bad class, so they thought there was value in the 3rd. At least QB is worth it if it hits though.
  18. He could wash out of the league in 2 years or be the next Darren Sproles. Or anything in between.
  19. Today
  20. No one knows what he will be yet. We won't until he takes the field. Many times. Same with all the rest, from Tet on down to Moose 3. It's kind of exciting, the anticipation and all. But it has been disappointing too many times recently for me to get too over the moon about any of it.
  21. Seeing him in the limited time that I have. I am just not convinced he is going to develop the way we want him to. To be fair, I didn't view him as a high caliber prospect in the first place. I am fine being wrong about it, all the better for us. I do think the selection of Tmac at 8 says quite a bit about how they view him too.
  22. Yeah, I was just not a fan of the value there. I think he will be a better version of YGM.
  23. No. He'd been on the Aho line, and that's where he was in the projected lineup for game 3. I believe Rod shuffled Jarvy, Carrier, and Blake in-game Saturday, and he's sticking with that change, but could be wrong.
  24. This thinking is correct, cover 3 is Evero's preferred coverage, zone blitz underneath. Sliding coverage and moving the blitz and attack point around a lot. You'll see a lot of cover 3 with the box stacked and every down a different player will come even if it's still only a 4 player rush. But Evero is more known for mixing his coverages up but showing cover 3 pre snap while rolling to cover 2 or cover 4 allowing a safety to blitz off the edge while rolling the OLB on the opposite side into the flat or under edge zone.
  25. No issues drafting a RB in the 4th that'll be slated as your 3rd down specialist, or special team returner. I just thought that Billy Bowman and/or Malachi Moore would have helped the team more. But who knows, Etienne could be our Bucky.
