I love you brotha but just no… (you and I used to tailgate together with Brandon (from Orlando) and Riot back in the day (before he got all famous and poo).

Proctor will get eaten alive by speed rushers. If you think Ickey was prone to get beat by speed demons on the edge, well a 360 pound dude ain't your answer.

We have a comedian here folks.

Yup, I keep using Kyler as a comp for a reason. Don't be stupid Dan.

I would not mind this It is a smart move The Carolina Panthers might catch themselves a hog molly this offseason. Joe Person of The Athletic, in a fresh article from Saturday, offered up his biggest takeaways for the team heading out of the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine. As part of his notes, he reports that general manager Dan Morgan and his staff are "spending a lot of time" on assessing possible additions to their offensive line—a position group that is likely to be without starting left tackle Ikem Ekwonu for at least a portion of the upcoming campaign. Person also suggests a potential draft option. He writes:
-
Dougie stops playing defense way too often. Go get Tro.
-
Basically, Sadiq means you would have to cover him with a safety or nickel instead of a LB. Not a huge advantage, but he can create mismatches in some sets.
-
He could, but we can't replace him (as a cap casualty) with what we'd save. I mean, saving $4.75m is not worth losing a starting edge, especially if we let Wonnum go (we will, as you know). I think we keep jones and Scourton as starters--hopefully, Princely will come on stronger in 2026.

chknwing started following Extend Icky...
-
ok hear me out before you throw stuff...Icky is not in a negotiating position. Will be a free agent next year, unless carolina does the 5th year option. He may not get a better deal from another team coming off this bad an injury. Could have him over a barrel for a team friendly contract. Cap savings would be substantial this season to sign a few more players.

Can he catch ?
-
I agree but unfortunately Boom is on the market. He has net been the same since the Quinn Hughes trade fail. I think he is being told to scale back to not get hurt. Not by Rod but his agent.

If Willis believes in himself and the situation he will be going to, he should just sign a one year prove it deal. That will give him the potential to score a mega deal next off season

Joe Person: Austin Corbett is not expected back with Panthers
strato replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Maybe. That’s the feeling I have. It will be all about money this time and with two, at least, besides us who may end up competing for him, I expect us to let him leave. -
got 1 of all, last one before FA ruins everything....

Joe Person: Austin Corbett is not expected back with Panthers

Panthers have past over Mays like three times, cut and lost the TC battle and when other got healthy they put mays back on the bench. I'd be gooonne. -
2026 NFL Combine Thread: 2.26.26 - 3.1.26
Basbear replied to Soul Rebel's topic in Carolina Panthers
Its from the combine doctors and some team in the teens leaked the infro(my guess), its 100% legit. My thinking is he was a game changer with a bum knee. MCL should heal before TC and if he makes it until the end, fix the knee/acl/whatever in the next off-season. Like the short armed DE bain, he's not going to fall far even with bad news...just too good. -
Im sorta surprised tua for Murray or Watson wasn't done. It off sets the huge dead cap by having a QB with lots to prove on a new team. Yes, I too am terrified of the contract panther may offer BY and I do think there will be one. They have just got to first year of getting over the whole BY trade and his at best meh play. Its the Dave and Dan choice that either get fired or stay.

Yeah same stuff people saying in the spring of 2023. About this time of year. I was on it about margins too. They are smaller for him than for others. He actually, finally, did a little better in spurts than I saw coming but it took 3 years. And counting.
