  1. Past hour
  2. Lol. Washington challenging the challenge. That is amazing.
  3. Well, if you are talking talent levels ..I mean......well....
  4. Marcus m just did the exact same throw that many on here applauded Bryce for as his best
  5. Mariota with 42 yards through the air like it’s nothing. Sigh.
  6. I turned it off to watch NFL. He has tools but that is a terrible team to be playing for. The hit rate on those Air Raid guys is just so incredibly low. Especially Kiffin guys. Kiffin's best QB to date has been Matt Barkley and he is overwhelmingly the best. Hence why I completely don't buy Jaxon Dart. If he is smart, he goes to a far better college program for preparing you for the NFL.
  7. I mean, listen, I get that you are a hopeless Warren fanboi but this is just a completely ludicrous argument. Literally everything you said in that post is extremely laughable.
  8. Excuses. Kept the team out of the game Sunday.
  9. Plenty of us even the outspoken critics have give him credit for the impressive plays he's made. The box score watcher claims do make me laugh though because it's not as if Bryce is some kind of unicorn at the position where there is an untold story in the stat line. That's also very indicative of where we're at though on the whole conversation isn't it? I mean Bryce Young hasn't done anything whatsoever that we haven't seen UDFA Kyle Allen do and we only gave that guy 12 starts. Bryce Young has had nearly 4 times that and there are still some people who are basically resetting the clock between games. And these same people cannot understand why others are fed up. We've never seen this level of benefit of the doubt for any other Panthers QB based on a full picture of career starts. At this point the meat of Bryce's game is what it is. In order for Bryce Young to have a big day he needs either the other team to shīt the bed or he needs everything on our end to go perfectly with excellent pass protection virtually at all times. But how rare is that? How many times have we just blown the doors off teams with Bryce Young at QB and when that happened how did we accomplish it? There's a reason even the most impressive wins from Bryce Young have always been within one score. The limitations of his game are what they are regardless of how talented the moving parts around him may or may not be. Nothing in that regard has changed or will change. It is what it is.
  10. How do you feel about Trinidad from Ole Miss?
  11. Big win for the Tarheels today. I think they already have more Q1 wins this year than they've had the last three years pre-conference. Still need to learn to close out games, but their size and stretch ability is going to be a problem in April. GDTBATH
  12. I like your strategy but one point of contention. After 3 years I don't think you have folks not watching and simply going off box scores
  13. I’m not even too concerned about people giving him credit. Just reading the box score and making assumptions isn’t always correct. Then when it gets corrected or challenged a whole little meltdown happens. There are plenty of honest data driven metrics to hold Bryce accountable in a negative way. There is no need to make up some (not directed at you). You are typically straight forward with your assessments and I appreciate that. I’d say we are probably stuck with Bryce next year unless a too good to be true option happens. Hopefully we upgrade QB2 and take a flier on a mid to late draft pick to be our developmental QB3. I’d love Lance in FA and if Allar falls to round 3 or later I’d be all over that too. If Canales is truly good at developing QBs Allar has every took you want.
  14. Is there going to be a new Week 16 Other thread or are we in this thread? The Eagles and Commanders are playing now the Eagles fumbled on the opening kickoff
  15. Today
  16. Kind of defeats your T-Mac vs Warren argument. There's one TE (McBride) who NFL GMs would take over Warren. There are at least 40+ WRs NFL GMs would take over T-Mac.
  17. I am not going to be very rigid on the "needs to be." We need to draft good players. If that means taking an elite TE over a middling EDGE or ILB, so be it. If that means taking an elite WR over a middling whatever, so be it. I just want good players. I also remember a lot of butthurt over taking Luke back in the day because we already had good LB's. Never pass on elite players. Ever.
  18. Man I hear you but the combo of his stats and what I’ve seen, i disagree. Sure he has moments but overall, just gets beat just like a Rags fans said he does.
  19. The Miami-TAM game was not really good though. I mean, I know it was windy, but it was not skillfully played. Bama-Oklahoma was much better.
  20. There is a Grand Canyon-sized chasm between your opinion and the opinions of most former player hockey guys who do this for a living.
  21. I can only imagine the **** eating grins on the committee right now. "Oh, Bama didn't deserve it? Oh, Miami didn't deserve it? Suck it, haters!" lol
  22. To say that, is gaslighting, because it isn’t true. I mean, maybe one or two people do that but it isn’t the predominant behavior. Even Frank has given him credit. I think particularly the Rams game. A couple of glowing posts. I know I have. Gotta be honest about it because if you aren’t it undermines what else you say. But the degree of how far I go with credit, in terms of it being a projection of future performance? Not very far. Acknowledge it, but require more of it. There is a lot of bad play to offset. I tried to remain passive while the last 9 games (post ankle injury) played out. It is just really hard when the lows won’t go away. I failed. As high as a couple of those highs were, there isn’t enough. I know it is premature to just say I want to move on, made my decision after 6 of those games ended up pretty much really good or not good enough, but I have had enough of being patient and letting him show the reality either way. So in my view, he Could still validate himself to a decent degree if he smokes the last three starts. But also in my view I don’t expect to see it. Maybe one more high quality start, would be my expectation. So yes he could still somehow justify having the job next year. If that happened I still wouldn’t have much faith given the last three years and all that has transpired. Again, there is a lot of bad play to offset.
  23. To start with, you wouldn’t want to count up that value chart. You would see quickly where that is headed. But you basically did a quantity comparison, while ignoring quality. I am looking at 2023 as the start, because it became all about Bryce. 2023 you have 4 picks plus DJ Moore for offense vs 2 (80 and 145) for defense. 2024 you got the 1st overall, the 32, the 46 and the 101 for offense vs 72, 157, 200 and 240 for defense. Leave the FA IOL out of it. Which was a crazy big investment. But it wasn’t draft. Anyway, that is basically 4 top 100 picks for offense and 4 picks for defense in 2024. Except they were 2 first rounders, the second rounder, and the 4th was really high at 101. Vs 72 and day three stuff. Please…. Second quoted/bolded… See you think we hate Bryce. That isn’t it at all. It is nice easy way to characterize us and discredit our talking points though. Me, I do mostly hate watching him play. But I don’t hate the person. I hate the hell out of the stanning. It started with the very first question I asked about his footwork, arm strength, and size. Height being the principle objection. I never even got to the durability factor. There was plenty without factoring that in. But there was rabid opposition to even asking the question of what a couple of small fractions of a second extra closing time would do for the defenders. What the extra time it takes to flip the hips would do vs a pass rush or on the other end after the ball is in the air. Split second more for recognition where it is going for the DBs. The tippy toe backpedal. That poo was a mess and it has always been mess but no Bryce fan wanted to hear it. “Go get another team to root for”. “It worked in the SEC it will be fine in the NFL you don’t know football you are just a hater”. It got worse when the real games started. It has never stopped. It is nice that many people have left that train so there is less abuse but it hasn’t stopped. So whatever…
  24. Whatever school you attended, I don't know and I don't care, but I would suggest demanding a refund. Something was completely missed there.
