Yeah. This year’s QB crop is lacking, so it would be a good year for him to come out. However, if he truly cares about development and actually having a chance to succeed, he would stay at Bama for another year.

The Rams need to have several key in game injuries for us to have a shot imo. I think the Rams may score 50 points. Our only realistic chance is that Rico goes crazy and keeps dopey Bryce from throwing a bunch of Thanksgiving left over turkeys out onto the field.

Evaluating Canales right now is like evaluating our WR corps. You can't take Bryce out of the equation, so you can't give it a fair judging. Bryce just throws the math off. And no, Andy Dalton games don't count. As good as a guy as he is, I think all the tread has worn off of his tires. Keep Canales and let him go into next season picking the QB he wants, either in the draft or free agency.

I know all the crying good lord. Duke had the same rules as everyone else and by the way, the same rules as every other conference. If the ACC is stupid then so are all the others. It’s not some hidden formula the ACC uses. Duke did what they had to do simple as that. By the way someone said that Virginia would get killed and Duke should not be allowed. Those same things were said about TCU a few years ago, they made it to the championship game. You play the games for a reason. Duke has lost 5 games, true. All but one was ranked then or now and UConn is what 9-3 something like that. I for one and glad to see a shake up. Get so tired of Georgia vs Alabama type conference championship games every year over and over again.

James Madison would likely be ranked higher as a conference champion so if Duke wins most likely no ACC team gets in unless the committee decides to slide Miami above ND based on head to head.

A two back running scheme with Chuba, Rico and Tremble just pounding all four downs all day on every play could do it. Throw in who ever is the Hoover (D Brown?) nowadays. Grind the game down to a ground game marathon.. just keep pounding and prepare for division games that matter.

Same poo FSU tried to pull while getting a historic beating and then promptly going 7-17 overall and 3-13 in the ACC since. I for one am glad to see all the "WE ARE THE REAL POWER" ACC crybabies get their just desserts. That includes Clemson, who got a little chirpy about leaving the conference too. Miami had the same rules as all the teams they claim to be better than. No one forced them to lose to Louisville or SMU. No one forced them to struggle against FSU either.

Well there is some pragmatism attached to that viewpoint. Dalton(who I would still rather see) isn't truly an upgrade and it's a little late in the game with options being almost nil to be digging in the unsigned FA scrap heap. Were it mu decision, I'd probably just sign Heinicke and at least try to get a middling backup up to speed for a game or two.

Miami has what....one appearance in 21 years and got smoked by 35. Then come in and blame the conference. That's beyond pathetic.
