  1. Past hour
  2. Everyone knows that Gruden won the Superbowl with Dungy's team, versus his old team, that was too stupid to even change up their calls and signals. So there is that. I don't know if it could be counted as poo poo.
  3. I have no specific insight, but I think he wants to go somewhere that is a Superbowl contender. He's over 30, he's spent time already with bad ownership and contract fights and holdouts. My guess is he would prefer to go to a contending team and be taken care of financially and just work on getting sacks for a year or 2 and maybe a ring along the way. Rams? Eagles? Pats? Niners? Broncos? Seahawks? But who knows. Maybe he is the mood for more ownership shenanigans and missing the playoffs.
  4. Speaking of Love and those final wins over K, Caleb Love is a feature of two of my all-time favorite UNC basketball photos From the final game in Cameron: From the Final Four win: Love struggled with consistency (a recurring theme under Hubert Davis) but man, he had one helluva knack for being at his best in big games and big moments.
  5. I don't see him getting a HC job this year... Just doesn't seem likely. Then again I did not expect Saleh or the Jets hire...
  6. I disagree. There are examples where big name coaches were brought in and its understood the team is trying to win. Like firing Dungy to hire Gruden. No one looks back on tampa and poo poos them for the move.
  7. No noteworthy coach is coming here anyway as long as Tepper is here. It's not like DC was a hot commodity and any coach who wants to do things his way isn't going to get the job offer.
  8. I think it was Eisen last week that brought up an idea of reaching out to Cignetti to see if he would be interested in the job, since he would be assured of having Mendoza. I can't imagine he would be though.
  9. Raiders are probably waiting on coaches currently in the playoffs i see no way, drafting Mendoza, and with tom brady as co owner, that they would bring a mediocre defensive coordinator in as HC no way
  10. We need to send EJ all our energy this afternoon. McDermott and 2 3rd round picks are waiting for us if it happens
  11. Maybe he should hire his old pal from New England?! Give him another shot! Maybe he will be better this time! It wouldn't be the 1st time the Raiders have gone back and hired a previous coach again. Not even the 2nd time!
  12. We already have a HC last time I checked.
  13. It's not so much about his ability to be a coach. It's ownership, followed by roster, followed by general standing in the division, followed by even more ownership. They've parted ways previously with 2 coaches that got them into the playoffs.
  14. I mean it wouldn't be hard to upgrade from that last Cardinals coach lol. Dude was a weirdo.
  15. If we brings McDaniel as his OC it could get interesting
  16. Crazy he could end up being a head coach. There was one poster here in particular who acted as if Joe Brady was their own personal boogeyman. @poundaway would be beside themselves right now.
  17. Today
  18. After all the hype years ago it turns out Beane isn't anything special but that doesn't mean Morgan has "arrived" either. He's had one Scott Fitterer draft and one solid draft. Need more of a sample size. Things get much trickier from here. We'll see where we're at by this time next year.
  19. That is my thinking of. Never know, but I would be really surprised if they went defense.
  20. I don't think any pass rusher in the NFL, Garrett included was going to win us that game. It goes a lot deeper than that.
