Well, you should probably put a hefty wager on that since you’re fairly certain that’s what’s gonna happen.

He made a comment in there about being fooled by one year of production. Didn’t drop a name with it but do the math.

What strengths are we referring to specifically? I mean when you have a guy you can't trust to throw to the middle of the field with confidence for physical and not mental reasons I think that has to go into the equation when you're talking about people losing jobs. If there is someone who should be losing their job present day in year four it's anyone that had a voice in the process of willfully choosing to limit themselves and cut off their nose to do so. *looks at Dan Morgan*

Any coach that doesn't tailor thier offence around thier QBs strengths will be fired pretty quickly -
Well if we're going down that rabbit hole then most of this subforum and a majority of the fanbase would be barred from participation because they didn't want Kon Knueppel they wanted Ace Bailey or someone else. And none of this is unfolding the way it is without Kon Knueppel. Just reality.

Haha. I was at the Hornets game when Rambis hit a buzzer beater layup vs the Bulls in 1988. Which is why I don’t give a poo about a team that will be 40-42 and back their way into the play in game to lose, again.

This. Great post.

Lol just remember who was here when it started

I don't see the logic in focusing on perceived negativity for a franchise that hasn't won a playoff series in about a quarter century. Let's get in the playoffs and win and go from there. If these Hornets can finally get over that hurdle and win a playoff series you will see a different vibe from the fanbase that is for sure and it will have been earned.

We can’t have nice things around here because there are a lot of negative dickheads. Jesus Christ enjoy that this team has turned the corner and it’s looking really good for a change! I’ve been a member on this message board for many many many years and the last couple years I’ve seen more negativity and miserable fugsthat I’ve ever seen before. With that being said, go Hornets.

Yeah.....and so many never wanted him..... Absolutely hated the pick. Same with Miller. We should be very glad the Hornets front office finally trusted better judgment in both instances. For whatever happens from here at least we finally have some young promising talent reminiscent of the 90's Hornets.

Former NFL Network’s Lindsey Rhodes on Carolina Panthers
LinvilleGorge replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah, at this point we have the answer in Bryce IMO. He's TON of help to ein games as an NFL QB. Pn a rookie contract, cool. You have the cap flexibility to pay for that help. But give a guy like that a franchise QB contract and you just tied a cap noose around your neck that he can't overcome unless you absolutely knock it out of the park every year in the draft. -
Dan Morgan is very likeable. He's a very notable former Panther. One of the best LB's I've seen play. But he is the GM now. Have to learn to separate the two. If he is unwilling this offseason in Bryce Young's 4th year in the league to address the QB room in a meaningful way and have a viable fallback plan at the most important position on the field then he deserves any and all criticism. I would say the same for any other GM in the same circumstances.

Former NFL Network’s Lindsey Rhodes on Carolina Panthers

This logic legitimately disgusts me. I could see if this were a QB who had more often than not flashed consistent top arm talent and had shown instances of taking over games but this is not that at all. It's time for the fourth year #1 pick to elevate the moving parts around him rather than need everything to not only go perfectly but those around him to make herculean efforts and the other team to implode to be successful. No sir. Build a complete roster and focus on the defense primarily. Do what you can on offense without making all in moves to the detriment of the rest of the team as we have already done. The steep investment behind center either rises to the occasion or we go another direction. -
Rico is 0%. I think we would really like to have Mays back but we have a value in mind and aren't willing to overspend. I think someone probably will so I think the odds are pretty low but not zero.

Panthers give Ashawn Robinson permission to seek trade
ColumbusCounty replied to X-Clown's topic in Carolina Panthers
Damn I liked A'Shawn too. This is basically a heads up we're planning on cutting you move. Robinson wasn't the best but I loved his attitude and effort on the field. He held that entire dline together when Brown went down iirc..granted we finished that season as the worst rushing defense in modern NFL history. If Wharton would have performed up to atleast half of his salary last season, I'd feel a little better about it. We do need that cap space though. -

13. Carolina is coming. The Panthers are well thought of around the league. Their "process" seems sound. I think their off-season will be very interesting to keep an eye on. They made the playoffs, but they're not yet knocking on the door. (Offense was 26th in EPA/play.) I think it's imperative they don't overestimate where they are in their build. They can't throw a ton of money around in FA to "make a run now". They need to be intentional about building a solid foundation. (IMO) And from what I know about the team... I think they will be. Sidenote: I have my eye on offense there, not defense. They HAVE to leave next season with a strong opinion on Bryce Young. They need to put pieces around him to do that. Can't be left wondering what he would have looked like with "better OL play" or "more pass catchers". They have to know. (That part is purely my opinion. No one told me that.) https://x.com/lindsay_rhodes/status/2027212533417869499?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA

LinvilleGorge replied to X-Clown's topic in Carolina Panthers
Because this DL is completely reliant on Brown being available and being a stud. Without him we were the worst D in history. The Wharton signing last year reeked of desperation. He just isn't a great fit for us schematically and I think we panicked a little bit when we missed out on Milton Williams who would have been a great fit. -
I have a very specific set of skills.....LOL

Dungy just isn't a TV or "go viral" guy, which is sad cause he does drop knowledge. He's perfect for podcast, just the market has players moms and forklift drivers on bathroom breaks to compete with....
