The Bucs collapsed due to huge injuries and the saints were turning it around, just ran out of time. We backed into playoffs losing the two huge games to end the season. To me, waiting to see how he does this season and then discuss contract extension is the smart move. Putting this out in the atmosphere now seems misguided.

well honestly ALL these Qbs in the NFL are talented & can WOW you at times with great throws & sometimes even string those aforementioned great throws together & have great games.however ,what seperates the elite top tier Qbs from the average or below average Qbs is consistency can you just imagine being in the playoffs with a Qb like Bryce Young where the post season eliminates any room for error & rewards reliability & consistency. ...just saying

I think the QB position is over hyped these days and all of these record contracts don't seem to be working because they lose other good players. No idea why they'd consider a Bryce extension unless they can get him cheap and they think he can cut down on the turnovers and be a game manager.

He made the playoffs! I heard, at least twice and from different sources, about our late season playoff push and the actual words “playoff run”. And these were media analysts. I don’t know how these narratives take hold but they do. (It is like big time throws and deep balls lol).

I would look at them sideways if they took a TE in the second over filling the hole they made by cutting A’Shawn. And secondarily (if DL wasn’t really there), placing TE over ILB in that round.
