  2. 1.) Resign BC and Yosh. Find a short term answer in Free Agency. 2.) Give Coker a 2 year contract and see how he responds. Something like 9 mil for 2 years. Big deal follows that. We just dont wanna have to pay TMac and Coker in the same offseason. 3.) From everything I've heard, he's getting another season minimum. If he doesn't show up I could see us getting rid of him during the '27 offseason. We're probably holding out hope that he can spontaneously perform like he did in college again. 4.) If I had to guess.... this is about where the 3rd round of the draft comes in. Cade was cool but we could do better. 5.) Prediction: we'll take a shot at a splash signing in FA like Llyod or Bush but have Dean and Chenal on speed dial incase it falls out. I also think we might end up double dipping in the draft. I wouldn't be too mad at a trade down and grabbing CJ Allen late first and Tuarean York(sleper) in the 4th. If we stay at 19 and Styles is gone I think we're going Offense at 19. Wouldn't be the smartest move imo but I could see us grabbing Lemon, KC Concep, or Saddiq. 6.) Chubba could still carry the bulk of the load but my gut is telling me if Brooks can get back to atleast 75%, he'll end up a better version of Rico. That's still the ? tho. Etienne's work ethic will keep him on the roster but it wouldn't surprise me to us draft one late and bring in a FA option. We've always stacked rb's under Canales.
  3. I like Kon a lot, and I was completely wrong about him. But Flagg is a better fit on any and every team in the NBA if you're comping him to Kon.
  4. Not really the same production when you account for playing time. Coker has slightly better production playing half the snaps of XL. I'm a big fan of Coker - he just needs to stay healthy.
  5. 1. This is a really tough hand. Comes down to what Ickey's agent pushes for. If they insist on that big contract he would've likely earned before injury... we cut our losses now. 2. His production doesn't really warrant a huge contract. If he does get one, it's likely one we could afford. 3. Unless we get Jerry to bite again, I doubt anyone would want to trade anything for XL. His future is dependent on him getting better and/or future late-round/UDFA guys taking his spot. 4. I'm very much into drafting OL's every single draft. Ideally, a new LT/C but any Big Ugly with starter potential is welcome, especially if it helps us replace someone a lot more expensive. 5. Lean towards using draft picks. 6. Can't put all our eggs in the Brooks basket. Personally, if we get another back with a late round draft pick or as a UDFA, I'd like someone with a good set of hands.
  6. Joseph Vincent Flacco. Find anyone who knows how to play LB. Rozeboom led the universe in missed tackles. Find anyone who knows how to play TE. The entire position blows donkey dicks. Get a kicker who is reliable past 50 yards. This is the new NFL, kicking 50-60 yarders is expected. Try not to look like monkeys fuging a football during the draft. That puts us in a spot to compete for the division with Atlanta.
  7. Bryce's contract has zero influence on Coker, period. If you think otherwise than you are just revealing your ignorance on how all of this works behind the scenes; QB contracts are basically a different tier that can also be utilized to reallocate resources when needed via restructures (see Brees and Saints.) The ERFA status simply gives the team a "declare your interest in keeping this player" due date, that is all. The numbers are irrelevant for any long-term plans, they are just a placeholder until both sides agree to a new contract if so desired.

  9. I hate the new format. The old games were easy cash on the overs once the players stopped competing.
  10. Long offseason so I’ll give my thoughts: 1) just gotta see how it plays out. Obviously no contract this year now and there’s no rush. Just gotta wait and see how he heals. 2) I could see us getting another WR in FA but think they’d be ok rolling with tet coker and xl next year. No reason at all to pay Coker now unless they’d take a 2-3 year at $7M 3) trade and if no takers than he’s our 3 next year 4) think Nijman is our LT this year and they will use Corbett or BC + draft 2 OL 5) Dean in FA is my preference. Think also in play for one of our first 2 picks. 6) yeah he looked fine to end the season. Obviously we’re guessing but the staff knows where Brooks is. He’s either our 2 or if Rehab is not going well we roll with Etienne and a PS guy as our 3 is my guess
  11. I would be shocked if we cut Dalton and bring in anything better than a mike white #3. Im not even sure they are allowed to bring in any real competition.
  12. 1. Icky is not getting a big contract after that injury, hes not playing at all next season. He will probably get a 1 year prove it deal afterwards from someone. 2. Coker is the #2 and a ERFA we dont have to pay him much of anything. Also we paid Horn and he has been hurt a ton more. 3. Trade if the price is right or just keep him as a 3/4 4. We need a LT and C, will need a RT soon. Need to replace Hunt soon as well. 5. Draft and sign. 6. Chuba never been more than an average back, not sure whats being banked on.
  13. Cutting Dalton and bringing in one or preferably two guys to complete has to be on this list.
  14. 1. What do you do with Icky? Likely a scratch for next season and due a massive contract (if healthy) 2. Coker has the talent for 2nd WR, but do you pay a guy who gets hurt that premium? I think hes your number 3 simply due to risk. Will the Panthers seek another vet or go surprisingly high in the draft? 3. Do you give X more feature time? Or cut bait now? 4. Planning the long term/short term on OL 5. How do you address LB? 6. Do you bank of Chuba bouncing back? These moves will determine if Dan's can maintain a consistent playoff level team.
  15. Nothing like being at the game, Kon balling out, hits the game winning free throws and cash a bet. Parlay for tonight. Will maybe bet second half of Michigan/Sparty after seeing how first half trends.
  16. It’s got nothing to do with the event itself, it’s about the accolade and it lessening the meaning of it, particularly for past players. Just call it “The postseason games” or something dumb like that. Then have pro bowl voting still and those players are then invited to participate in the event, but any alternates aren’t then considered “pro bowlers”
  17. Either you’re joking or you mean $50 million total package for 4 - 5 years not AAV lol
  18. As of 4 hours ago, rumors are Panarin wants a 4-5 year extension @ $50M AAV. Caps, Kings, Sharks, Red Wings and Canes are still in, according to Elliott Friedman.
  19. They need to turn the pro bowl into a skills contest that somehow forms some American Gladiator type event. Now that would be some fun shot to watch.
  20. It's games. It isn't a big deal. Also, the Pro Bowl games are infinitely superior to the old Pro Bowl game.
  21. Not that we need any more kindling for the Fire David Newton crowd, but this content most Panthers fans could predict with their eyes closed. Reeeeeeal eye opening isht here, Dave. Clown on jackass.
  22. He wanted him as a backup there, not to be their starter, big difference. That doesn't mean he won't get an opportunity to start, but if he does, I think it's more them punting on the season to get a high pick in next year's better QB class than thinking he actually can be their long term solution. Saw it the other day, since 2000 there have been something like 600 times a QB has thrown 200 passes in a season. Of those, Shedder ranked in the bottom 10 for QBR, he literally had one of the 10 worst seasons of the last quarter century, he's not a starter in this league.
  23. I haven't bothered to look up the actual % but just from watching every game past 2 years I would imagine their snap count is almost 2:1 for XL
