  1. Past hour
  2. Man, I just spent a stack on this: I'm no bandwagoner, my son will tell you that I told him that my favorite QB in the league is Jordan Love two seasons ago. So, yeah, the Panthers got me thinking about getting a Jordan Love jersey---switching fùcking teams! My wife just told me, "You just spent all that money on gold and diamonds and have all that Panthers gear, you better take yourself somewhere, sit down and have a seat." She then told me how a DJ on 94.7 QDR,and Panthers fan, was soliciting listeners to give him ideas for another team. [Yes, my wife listens to country]. She told me that he said that he had thought about it, and if players can switch teams, then he can to. Damned Tepper got people switching teams. Fúck you too, Dave. Respectfully (only because I know you want to win too).
  3. This will be a high scoring game. Look for Young to do a complete 180 of last week. Both defenses wil be garbage. I see both teams over 30 points.
  4. That he gets worse while at the same time getting more exposure is just typical.
  5. And, yes, I've been a slow boil, but watching continually watching shitty displays of football for weeks has me frustrated.
  6. Bryce just didn't maximize Hunter Renfrow's skills. ***rant incoming*** But this isn't just about Bryce Young mistiming passes to Renfrow so bad that he's going to get Renfrow killed or hurt, this is also about incompetentence by Dave Canales. Renfrow can still play. He's putting DBs in a blender out there---making them play twister at the top of routes to keep up with him, and dumb Dave has the nerve to cut him. How about putting Hunter in the best position to help the damned offense by appreciating his skill set, DC? You're letting Bryce's apparent inability to make an accurate throw, or at least his timidity to push the ball down the damned field cloud your judgment and miscalculate talent---or maybe just miss on talent just as much as Bryce misses passes due to playing pussified football. It's fúcking unacceptable. Speaking of misjudgment, I don't know if it's Dan Morgan or Canales, but Eijiro Evero is not the business at DC. I have said a few times that his scheme is not conducive to run-stopping efficiency. Hell, and after watching some clips of plays, now I absolutely know why. The gaps are at least half open before the play even fúcking starts. You are setting the opposition's RBs up for success with too much damned space at the line and in the second level. If our guys are taken out in these areas---at the line and in the second level---then the defense is screwed because it must rely on the safeties to cover too much ground to make the tackle. At least put Ransom in who is motivated to seek and destroy if you're going to effectively leave the safeties on an island. And speaking of rookies, get our two new defensive ends more snaps to see if we can't generate more of a pass rush. For all the good the continued sorry display of defense that you're putting out for fan's to see (Ejiro, Dave and Dan), you may as well get the rookies generously involved. Fúck that money we gave second-rate (maybe second-rate) vets, we need a damned spark getting after the QB. Watch it, it's just another breakdown of the sh¡t we were subjected to last week. I say this with all respect: Fúck you, Dave! Fúck you, Dan! Learn how to run a fúcking franchise. Maximize the players, regardless of what you think you're supposed to do by the book. Cut the dead weight before another season is lost and fans lose interest in September. EE is "Ew!" Or for emphasis "EEw!" /end rant
  7. But nobody is saying he is a good deep ball passer. But the facts are since he's returned from his benching, he has been throwing downfield. Whether you want to credit the scheme, Bryce himself, or whatever, he has been pushing it deep. Not to any positive results mind you, but it has been happening.
  8. There's an old adage that with a WR, you really don't know what you've got until the third season. Still, dude needs to pick it up or he'll be struggling to get called off the bench to participate in that third season much.
  9. They found a way to win a few last year despite the defense. Good Jameis would eat in this offense. Bad Jameis is just a couple notches below Bryce’s ceiling. He’s the Ted Ginn of QBs. Brown being back, FA and the draft makes the defense no worse than last year… not worthy of being called better… I’ll say less terrible. Jameis has a good arm and fits the downfield scheme much better, but he’s old and erratic.
  10. Eagles/Chiefs is a national late game on Fox. Our viewing area is getting Cowboys/Giants as the Fox early game so it's on local TV.
  11. What is funny is that it's used to compare Young and is basically the floor to make meaningful change. No one wants PJ back either...
  12. All I know is I've got James Conner as a core play in DFS this week.
  13. Yeah he'd be chucking it all over the yard and force feeding it to Legette and TMac. I'd rather see that and still be trash than what we have now.
  14. Today
  15. It’s almost like Panther fans love to see their own guys fail. How many people trashed Cam even though he’s the best QB we’ve ever had.
  16. I think putting a competent player at QB improves our team tremendously. Is that considered a quick fix? I was one of those vehemently against trading up and I was apoplectic when they picked Young over Stroud AFTER making that moronic trade.
  17. yeah, just like they said Terrace Marshall Jr would? lmfao name another time this has ever happened. DJ Moore is the only successful Panthers receiver that we had to trade away for Bust Young, even he's looking worse off, though.
  18. He’ll go somewhere, figure it out and be a pro bowler.
  19. my new nickname for X is Boomhauer. dudes gonna get laughed out of the league.
  20. He would need a lot of development and at this point I’m not sure if Canales is really that “QB whisperer” everyone said he was.
  21. I think the cards could win by a heartbreaker FG or something or they could win by double digits, so I'm not messing with that. I know two things though, they will win and the Panthers will not score 3 TD's.
  22. They don't Sunday Ticket is for out of market games, it's pretty simple. You get access to every game that you can't watch locally on Fox or CBS. If it's on one of those two where you live, you won't get it, if it's not, you do. It's the literal reason Sunday Ticket was invented, to get the "out of market" games, I don't understand why people seem to still struggle to understand that.
  23. I haven't given up on him yet either, but one play from Week 1 has me now severely questioning what his ceiling might be. Not getting his feet in bounds on a pretty standard play was really damning, it wasn't even a toe tap type of catch right on the sideline, he was catching it in stride, there is absolutely zero reason any NFL player, even one just on a practice squad, isn't aware enough to drag that 2nd foot in that situation. That one play alone has me seriously concerned, more than any of his drops issues last year, because those things can be worked on and improved. If you're not getting the basic mental stuff like that down when you played 5 years in college (yea, I know 1 foot vs 2, meh) and in your 2nd year in the NFL, then I'm not sure you have what it takes between the ears to ever be a high level player. At worst, that one play made me already put Coker as the clear #2 the second he steps back onto the field for us, it soured me on XL that much.
