  1. Past hour
  2. No he didn't. He was looking to the right the entire time. When he realized Chase was on him, he braced for impact and protected the ball.
  3. You act like we gave Cam Newton the highest paid OL in the league and back to back first round WR's including one #8 overall for the first time in franchise history. Give Bryce Young Byron Bell on his left and Nate Chandler on his right and Ted Ginn out there dropping passes that hit both his hands multiple times in the same drive. And for good measure give him Corey Brown instead of Jalen Coker. Just win baby.
  4. So which do you think is more egregious? Not stepping up into this: Or not stepping up into this:Or this: Those were back-to-back redzone sacks taken by Shough Sunday.
  5. not for nothing, but Canales has said some truly wacky poo this year
  6. There is a point in the video it's clear he sees the pressure and decides to start backpeddling right into it vs stepping up and away from it. Watch it, it's obvious because there is a pause before he makes that choice to keep dropping regardless. That sure looks like it's on Bryce. It's not even an attack but just the obvious truth.
  7. So has BY ever failed on a QB sneak? Pretty sure he's batting a thousand on them. But if you don't want him to sneak it, then let someone else do it. You don't take it out of your playbook because you think your QB is too small. That's incredibly short sighted and lacks any form of creativity.
  8. Well, they aren’t laughing at Mahomes for not running the sneak…..because they know why KC now doesn’t. Which would not be why Carolina doesn’t. Every player in the field would know the difference in two situations.
  9. This is a real dumb weakness to have. If you have known you can't run a QB sneak with Bryce, why haven't you drafted a power back? You. Need a 235-240 hammer for short yardage. If not that, why haven't you drafted a taysom hill like gadget player for just this situation? Jalen milrose from this past draft would have been perfect for these short yardage 4th and gotta have it situation. If your committed to young commit to his limitations and adapt.
  10. And further more, give Bryce Jordan Gross, Ryan Kalil, Steve Smith, Greg Olsen and Tedd Ginn. Until then. The bitching needs to stop. See how that sounds?
  11. If I recall there was some emphasis on the refs putting the responsibility to line up correctly on the players. for years if a player asked before the play the refs would tell them if they were lined up correctly as a courtesy. Some of them still do, probably out of habit. But there are some refs that wont acknowledge the players request at all. One of those things players are just gonna have to get used to.
  12. See what I mean. Did I say Ickey was bad? Did you read anything even remotely saying that in my post? I said I love Ickey but he got beat on THAT play and gave up the sack on THAT play. THAT play was not on the QB. THAT play was on the LT.
  13. Man I get being up and down because the team is a rollercoaster and when the pressure is on they fold like a lawn chair but fưck this hit dog mentality. We better put up a fight against the Bucs.
  14. If you think Icky in his prime is bad let's give Bryce Young prime Byron Bell and tell him to win with that. Until then. The whining needs to stop.
  15. What does a 5th round TE afterthought nobody would bat an eye over if we released him have to do with the face of the franchise and the third highest paid player on the roster? You are being ridiculous. Yet you wonder why your threads are getting deleted. Nobody wants the old you Mr. Scot. Take a hint. Turn the page.
  16. You know full well those are dubious comparisons at best because none of the QB's you mentioned are also the smallest QB in the league. Bryce Young is like it or not working from a disadvantage in just about every facet on an NFL field and that is why we need things to go perfect for him in order for him to have a productive day let alone for him to look like a top 10 QB. Some people just don't want to face the truth. Well you can only run from it for so long. Good luck with that.
  17. This is called next level copium. When the motherfuging head coach comes out and says a qb sneak is not an option due to his size and you still feel the need to do this post. I dont pull for bans but when it eventually comes down on you I will smile a bit for sure because this poo is just cluttering the board at this point
  18. I do too, but I'm not denying reality in the process. If I wanted to make an argument to move on from Mitchell ,(I don't, but for argument's sake) and among my main debate points were that he was too short and hasn't caught a pass this season, would you accept those as valid points?
  19. Come on Huddle. I love Ickey's energy and fight, but he got his tail beat on that play and gave up a sack. How can we possibly have 9 pages blaming the QB for his LT getting bull rushed into him in 2 seconds while he's looking to the right? That's why your opinions aren't taken seriously. EVERYTHING negative is because Bryce Young sucks and is too small and his arm is too weak and he can't read the field and he's not accurate and...
  20. Actually, it'd have to be Canales. We've been going downfield on a pretty regular basis since after the first Saints game. If Bryce couldn't do it before, did he suddenly gain the ability just a few weeks back? Obviously not, so evidence shows it has to be a change of coaching strategy.. ... Evidence, plus I'm pretty sure Canales said so at some point over the past few weeks ..
  21. Today
  22. Would be a bad sign because the MO is a bounce back game when the opponents look like Carolina last game before flopping the game after regardless. The only mystery to me is why other teams don't watch the Saints film more. The hope wagon is scheduled to show up this week just to burn down the week after.
  23. Trust me the radio broadcast was likely much better than the TV broadcast. RG3 and that cross eyed guy on the TV drooled over the Saints the entire time.
  24. "Eventually?" Man, we ain't getting any younger, and life shouldn't be taken for granted. All of these no-count seasons will not get us our wish before we expire. Bryce just seems like the biggest problem, and his exit is the biggest fix in the shortest amount of time (and, yes there are puns in there somewhere).
  25. We had as many drives as the Saints. We just failed to execute at the end of the game, and they succeeded. They had the better QB and the better play calls that game. The defense gave up only 20 despite an offense whose last 3 drives were a turnover on downs and several quick 3 and outs. By no means was it good but you should win if your D holds their opponent to 20. I mean, most NFL teams would since they average 23 points. (Panthers only average 19 though)
