  2. this year he is averaging 180 yards a game 61% completetion During his mythical 10 game stretch last year he averaged 200 yards per game 60% completion. you truly thank that is worthy of a 5th year 30 million dollar option?

  4. That's just simply not true. Discredits last 10 games of last year and his games post NE this year.
  5. I concur. The fish were close, yet so far. I really learned nothing new about the Ravens last night. I don't know if they're improving, or if they're just a sucky team this season largely living off of reputation.
  6. I'd trade Chuba for a solid LB in a hot second. Just being honest.
  7. I can see that, but there are quality backs coming out every year. There are backs in FA that become available every year. As much as I have praised Chuba and think that he's a solid back, he's not special. He's certainly not special enough for me to lose any sleep if he's traded.
  8. I didn’t think you could really trade an injured player. I can’t know, but can’t dismiss Chuba possibly being less that 100%. Although, if you have no intention of trading said injured player, you could use him to spark discussions with teams that may lead to another player entering the mix. Technically. edit: yes it would be foolish to put any value in Brooks. He is pure gravy if he happens.
  9. I agree. I don't see the urgency to do anything at the RB position.
  10. Ravens could have piled it on if they wanted to but they basically hit the brakes in the 3rd. The funny part is that the Dolphins missed a 35 yard FG, had a turnover in the red zone and didn’t get a 4th and 2 in the red zone. They also had a BS tripping call on a pass that wiped out a Waddle reception to the Baltimore 7 yard line. 28-18 if they just got FGs on those red zone drives/aborted drives. Some better play calls and it could have easily been a game. Again, I think the Ravens could have scored more if needed, but the Dolphins (and refs) blew a lot of scoring opportunities last night.
  11. I can't sign on to trading Hubbard while I believe he still isn't fully healthy (so can't be properly evaluated) and Dowdle is only on a one-year deal. Also don't trust in Brooks at all.
  12. Woof. I watched that game. The Dolphins really are that bad. So bad that for all the praise that the Ravens got last night, I've got to wonder if we just saw them successfully punching their way out of a paper bag.
  13. I don’t think he does, but I think they think he does. Someone does. edit: I think it isn’t even that, that is just what they use to keep from saying the real reason. Which is shielding him from competition or perceived competition and keeping them out of a QB controversy situation. Which could blow it up.
  14. So many fall short in pass blocking and a lesser number in the receiving department.
  15. A good GM is always looking to upgrade the roster--a fire sale? No. But if there is a LB there who can tackle and cover.... I would argue that the WR room looks solid and is not expensive right now. The OL is probably not an area to tinker with. RB? I am a believer in the premise that you do not give RBs lucrative second contracts in most cases--so if we can trade a Hubbard to get a decent LB---I say, YUP. We ride the Rico hot hand, Etienne is a good reserve, and Brooks MIGHT be able to play in 2026. Smart move to lose a little and gain a lot.
  16. We don't have anyone worth moving that wouldn't set us back another few years.
  17. Paraphrasing a little, but the sentiment has been out there. If I cared enough to comb through a game thread I could find more and worse criticism. My main point is, I think he's a good player being talked about like a below average player. Also, I don't buy the "any RB will do" philosophy.
  18. I live way in the past lol, recent examples escape me but the Pats cleaned up off of backup QBs there for a little while.
  19. Today
  20. That's us after they extend Bryce so Im not going to laugh until we dodge thst bullet. And they were loaded before they paid their not good enough/injury prone QB
  21. Good news. He is skating this morning. Hopefully it’s good news and not serious
  22. I mean, we don't have a lot worth selling so there's that.
  23. Jarvy was on the ice this morning. Without gear. But atleast we know nothing is broken.
