  1. Past hour
  2. Looks like Sanderson is out now for the Sens. That’s their best player on defense. No Zub, no Sanderson, should be able to score on them more now. btw….that was a dirty hit from Hall. Hopefully he doesn’t get suspended for it.
  3. May someone smarter than me tell the people in the back how many different OL line ups we had last season?
  4. Maybe a fantasy but not an impossibility. Someone needs a OT mid season and we have a cheap Rasheed Walker and inside scoop on Christensen being healthy enough to be a backup by then. Probably a stretch but not crazy
  5. Hard keeping track this year but a brief day 2 outlook… There’s like 8+ defenders that could be starters if we play our cards right. Needs: Give Lloyd a partner, improve the full spine with our other 2-High roamer. CJ Allen ILB J Rod ILB Golday ILB Hill Jr ILB Stukes DB McNeil-Warren DB Haulcy DB Abney DB Who do y'all got?
  6. As far as instant impact, you're likely 100 percent correct, but I disagree with you about BPA because it's at least arguable that Freeling was the BPA. You're going to be hard pressed to find a whole lot of analysts that thought Thieneman was the BPA over Freeling, all you have to do is look at big boards. Now, Lemon? That's more questionable, but...as you know, many here didn't want us to use the pick on a receiver. Their minds and thoughts were squarely inside the box. Analysts were susceptible to that as well. All that being said, it still won't surprise me if Freeling turns out the better player at his position than Lemon will as a receiver. That won't surprise me at all, and it may not take as long as some people think. But yeah, Lemon will likely make the more immediate impact, and it won't be close.
  7. When you keep drafting lineman, it means to keep picking up guys with solid potential on day 3 or maybe day 2. There are tons of starters on the OL that came from rounds 3+. Taking developmental/risky guys in round 1 like Young and Legette is not how you build. You need your Brown and TMac rock solid, immediate impact guys and the rust guys come later.
  8. I hope so. But not because of injury. Hopefully, he beats someone out or gets put in a lot of big personnel packages.
  9. Monroe Freeling allowed a 1.8% pressure rate during his 2025 season at Georgia, which was top among all left tackles in college football. He has a 9.99 RAS. He’s young. Why would we complain about an OT prospect like this pick at #19 ?
  10. It’s a good fit, great potential coming from a big school, and he’s a true LT. And let’s be real, on top of having a crazy injury, Icky wasn’t this completely stable piece. He improved no doubt, but he wasn’t some banger of a LT that was going to warrant top-5 positional second contract. There’s always been this idea he could be an all-pro guard, above average tackle. Rasheed Walker is a complete unknown and we really don’t know about Icky’s recovery looks like. The guys who just drafted Freeling know the most about Icky’s progress so this may be telling.
  11. Don’t make me feel worse. I remember the Little combine drills and I thought the same thing, we better not take this guy. I remember Burns was at the same combine and he looked so fluid in drills. Literally the opposite of Little and clearly the results matched the drills. I’ve only had clear distaste of two prospects, Little due to the combine drills and our clear interest which made no sense and Deonte Brown who couldn’t move at the Senior Bowl. We took both of them over multiple pro-bowl prospects like Trey Smith. Boggles the mind and I hate to hear that Freeling looked terrible in the drills. That’s not being raw/needing development, that’s a huge red flag. Just a note to other people who never watched the combine drills, it’s not the numbers game, it’s drills meant to mimic situations.
  12. Really wanted Thieneman but, but this will pay dividends for years to come
  13. If anyone thinks this is a bad pick then you just don't understand football and how the oline works. Kid is 6'8 and has generational athleticism
  14. The stat is skewed because UGA threw quick screens and 3 step drop passes more than pretty much any other team in the nation. His “true pass block grade” was barely top 30 in the nation.
  15. from what I've seen this kid and how he moves- he could be a Landon Johnson type guy for us
  16. I understand all that. But no way there were 5 OTs better than Makai Lemon, Dillon Thieneman or Chris Johnson. The pick was for future need and cap relief. I'm not saying that's wrong. It's probably the right move. But he was not the best player available that would have the greatest impact this season. We'll just hope that Nick Scott turns into an athletic freak, CSW learns how to cover slots and TEs, or Metchie/Jimmy Horn break out this season. At least one of those things can happen. Right? In the meantime they'll be developing our future LT. Which is important too. We'll see how it works out.
  17. There are three positions that we have had that are very difficult to fill and we went without for a long time--QB, Edge, OT. If they are on the board when you pick and you can upgrade, you take them--I just did not see Morgan doing it. Freeling was not a second rounder (I forget who said that). If we selected Concepcion or Sadiq, I would not like it. Freeling? OK. I get it. lets move on
  18. So me asking a question is complaining? Fair enough, I forgot how sensitive you are.
