Bear Hands started following Our Next QB: The Qualifiers
-
We are here. We have arrived at this moment. So, where are we at? Me (and I really don't think this is too much to ask) Non-Negotiables Hits baseline mass/strength/body type standards of a pro-QB (i.e. at least the avg 6'1 215) - sorry Kyler, Russ Above Average (at minimum) arm strength Pocket proficiency: Well-refined mechanics & pro-level footwork Can effectively run a QB sneak Can attempt half-time ending prayer shots Functional Speed/Quickness Awareness (Particularly pre-snap) Negotiables: Strengths in intermediate/second level throws FA vs. Rookie - just find the guys you like, multiple/a competition would be fine Mobility-type - doesn't need to be a runner (I.E. Hurts, Daniels), he just needs to have the combination of speed and size to utilize Pro-level scheme knowledge/experience - if he has the tools, you can develop with the right guys around you. Allen didn't have this, Mahomes not much. Who's eliminated: Bryce, Kyler, Russ, Nuss Who's Not: FA: Howell (baseline FA), Levis, Lance, Pickett, Stidham, Mariota...yuck, but you get the picture Draft: Simpson, Mendoza, D Moore, Maiava this is where we are...

Me too. It was horrible and really is what is behind my nasty attitude and resentment towards the stans. Cancel culture nastiness from them on any questioning of the kid, or their SEC, Alabama, processor, point guard arm strength, mechanics, narratives. It didn’t matter what you had to show them. Didn’t want to hear it. No Negativity allowed. Go find another team to root for lol. idiot. Hater. Racist even. Despite wanting CJ lol.

What is closest to your Bryce opinion?
PootieNunu replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
Tons of guys didnt want Bryce pre draft. Quite a few of us were already saying you dont take a guy at #1 overall who then forces you to throw out a good majority of your playbook. Not overly fast, weak arm, short, he has no redeeming qualities. -
Thanks for sharing big dog

Lock in the Rams at -10 with every dollar you can spare

Enjoy poverty…. Cope harder what in the world moron was a betting prediction against the line an indication for you to take a cheap shot? Oh cause I was at the game yesterday in SF and you watched it on a crusty couch -
I feel like some on here have revisionist history cause I swear I was in the minority when I didn't want Bryce pre draft. I got so much poo

There's a lot of talk about Moore going back to school next year but with this QB class being underwhelming versus the hype he might be best off coming out this year. Like every other "next year's draft class" next year's draft class is being touted as loaded at QB so with a lot of the presumed top QB prospects not looking great this year the iron might be as hot as it's gonna get.

It was already full retard the minute they decided to give all those picks up. It became criminal when you trade the WR that could help your young QB away. On a good contract too. WTF are you doing?
-
I think you may be onto something there. I've kinda noticed that too but I am far from an expert on these things.

This Bryce Guy (General BY Discussion)
Bear Hands replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
After some consideration and keen observation, I have a rather hot take opinion about Bryce: I don't think he's a good quarterback in the NFL. -
You are giving him too much credit.

I’m not sure people understand how fuging bad it is
CRA replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
I mean, Tepper is an issue. I think we use him as the scapegoat for the bad of others though. We seem to always want it to boil down to 1 guy. And it sort of contradicts what we know of Tepper. Tepper is a bad decision maker that moves on from bad decisions. Nowhere does the Tepper ego have him tripling down on bad mistakes. That's not his thing. I mean, I do believe the reporting of the split in house decision on Bryce. I think it is logical that that the split was front office and coaches. Tepper was the audience. He sided with the front office. But Scott Fitterer did his sales job on Bryce Young with his team. Fitterer's team is helping shape Fitterers viewpoint. Dan Morgan was Fitterer's #1 guy and Dan's current staff all feed the Bryce Young narrative IMO. -
I am with you. They are going to drive me away if they go another year off of this recent Atlanta game. And I have been strong since we were awarded the team. It is just too much to tolerate.
-
Maybe he wants to make it more obvious to the world on a national stage that Bryce sucks
-
If he's there I'm drafting him it's probably just gonna be another run of top 10 QBs. The rookie wage scale has taken the bust risk factor away so if you don't have a QB and you think there's a potential franchise QB on the board you pretty much have to draft him. Nussmeier sucks. Period. I wouldn't even look at him until we get to the "throwing darts at the board" portion if the draft.
