I would like to see a study on RB career length by running style. Those upright runners that need size to succeed often take a beating. Short careers, I would assume.
-
The only money I'm committing to the tourney today. I don't need wins I just need 10 point leads with hot starts to the first half lol
-
I think he will be 28. I am not opposed to this. 240 lb back (think blocking too). 34 inch quads. who does that?
-
Nothing about that picture says, "Super Bowl Bound" and I could say the same obout Bryce and Pickett. I hope that we draft a guy who can develop and compete. Someone like Allar, for example. Has the tools, was hurt, just never put it all together. I think you keep shopping for QBs until you get that franchise QB. Bryce is entering year four and he has never been challenged. Sure, Dalton came in for a bit, but his career was dropping off--Pickett? Are we worried about insulting Bryce? Bring in some competition and when we find our franchise QB, THEN we bring in complimentary backups. I honestly believe they dont want the crowd screaming for the backup all game.
-
It won't, you guys will cling to him ending coach K's career both at home and in the tourney and forget the national championship choke job. Sucked in the moment as a Duke fan but I'll love every day that the chump is UNC's head man.
-
Murray will be out of the league soon but at least he's actually spent time in the weight room.

Gotta win this one. Bussi needs a bounce back game so bad.

Hubert Davis is such an unlikable person. That press conference was beyond pathetic.
-
I hope this puts an end to the Hubert Davis experiment.

Georgia getting blown out by St. Louis.

I think Georgia will chase, and this game will speed up even more.

Hedged my parlay ... Will win some money either way.

Bryce Not the Only QB Who Gets Grief
Dave Gettleman's Shorts replied to RevJ's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'd just go play baseball at this point if I were Murray -
Penn is hanging with Illinois. They've got to rebound better off all these threes Illinois is jacking up. If they do better on the boards in the second half they'll have a chance late.

Duke will beat TCU but I can't see them beating kansas or st John's

Dalton is ancient by NFL standards. Howell is only 25. Howell's only year as a starter he put up almost 4k yards, 21/21 with a 43.2 QBR while being sacked 65 times. This past year and the 3rd starting, which many would consider to be Bryce's best, he barely put up 3k yards 23/11 with a QBR of 47.6 while being sacked 27 times. Pickett 4 years in the league, with 27 starts, he's amassed 4900 yards, 16/16 with a 53.6 QBR. Now if Bryce were injured for a season, which QB would you say has more potential to step in and run an offense? I'd say Howell only because in a single season he threw for 1k yards less, more tds and granted more ints in 11 less games as a starter than Pickett's whole career. Everyone is saying Pickett sucks, Howell sucks, but what I'm seeing is Bryce is right on par with them. Howell is on his 5th team, so is KP, yet Bryce just got a 5th year extension putting up pretty much similar numbers. The bar for QB on this organization is really low. Did I want Howell? I didn't care. I wanted someone, anyone, who can potentially be better than what we've had the past 3 years or who we signed as a backup. We do not have even a mid tier NFL QB on the roster right now. If Howell was brought in as camp fodder and didn't make the cut, wouldn't hurt my feelings at all. If we bring in another QB via the draft, I hope it's someone who could have the potential to be a starting QB with some development because that's the whole point. We can't be afraid to bring in anyone who might have the potential to unseat Bryce or take his job if he's injured. The goal is to get winning seasons and make SB runs with hopefully a victory or 2. Pickett doesn't accomplish that. Dalton hasn't been able to even be in consideration for that role in over 2 years.

Next 2, Brooklyn and Philly are must wins that we should have no problems winning. Other 2 are Knicks and Celtics in Charlotte, split those. I think that 5 of 6 is very doable. And probably will be necessary for our pursuit of a 6-8 seed. Hawks keep rolling sadly but at least Miami and Orlando finally slipping up after they both had long winning streaks like Atlanta. 76ers obviously in a free fall

It has become so fuggin clear. Hubert Davis is a joke. We need a serious coach. He plays 3 guys 40 mins? He is a scared coach. Dump this bum
-
UNC is 48-2 in NCAA tournament games when leading by 10+. Hubert blew a 16 point lead in the national championship game and a 19 point lead tonight.
-
As fun as those two last wins over K were and that fluke run to the title game were in Hubert's first season, it wasn't worth it in the long run. Getting to a title game in his first year bought him a verrrrrry long leash. I honestly think tonight would've been the last straw without that. We lost a national championship ship game because Hubert hates using his bench and just wants to lean on his starters and we ran out of gas. We lost tonight for the same reason. Veesaar was absolutely gassed before regulation even ended.
-
They had to come back to win today which I didn't expect this early, UNC crapped the bed and let VCU come back and win. I can't see any team in the ACC getting past the 32 unless they get an easier path.
